국문 초록

본 연구는 동적이미지들이 범람하고 있는 오늘날의 시각 환경에 학생들이 보다 주체적이고 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 미술교육적 접근의 일환으로 비주얼 리터러시 함양을 위한 동영상 교육 프로그램 개발을 목적으로 한다. 특히 본 연구에서는 지금까지 초등미술과 교육에서 개개인에 의해 일회적이고 학년 간 연계성 없이 산발적으로 연구되어 온 동영상 교육 프로그램을 아동의 동영상과 관련된 인지능력발달을 고려한 학년별 수준에 맞추어 체계적이고 연계성 있게 구성하고자 한다. 또한 학교 교육현장에서 누구나 손쉽게 적용할 수 있는 내용들로 기술적·공학적 문제로의 접근이 아니라, 보다 사회·문화적 맥락에서의 미술 교육적 접근으로 동영상의 기본적인 이해에 초점을 두고자 한다. 이와 같은 연구 목적과 방향에 따라 연구내용은 우선 초등학생들의 동영상에 대한 인지발달 정도를 고찰하고, 초등학교 동영상 교육의 접근현황과 실태를 분석하여, 이를 토대로 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이것을 현장에 실험·적용하는 것으로 구성하였다. 연구방법으로는 국내외 문헌들의 조사·분석과 동영상 교육 프로그램 개발 및 프로그램의 타당성·적절성 등을 검토하기 위한 현장적용 실험연구, 이를 검정하기 위한 설문지법이 활용되었다.

영문 초록

Children in these days are more likely to be surrounded by moving images such as TV, Net, game, and that changes has led many different ways of approach using moving image in the sequence of time has been delivered to the art industry dominated by the spatial formative language among the elements expressed in a screen. In reality of art education, however, still it focuses on the expression of static image rather than operating an education of moving image. Therefore it is considered to extend a moving image education with dynamic image that signifies whole narrative according to the time procedure instead of sticking with motionless images, when organizing the contents of art education. This study has an objective to develop educational program for moving image enhancing visual literacy in elementary art education, so that would help student get adapted to the new visual cultural environment with more active attitude. Particularly in this study, it constitutes the educational program in consideration of student s development of cognitive competences and student s grade, overcoming the conventional program that individually performed with temporary design neglecting the connection between student s grades. Besides, it is designed with more basic understanding of moving image that easily accessible in the teaching field, by approaching with social cultural context, not by the technical matter or engineering approach. According to these objectives and directions, it investigated elementary schooler s cognitive development towards moving image, analyzed the real condition and status of moving image education in elementary school, and conducted an experiment with the educational program that developed in this study employing the results. As for the research methods, it examined the references and conducted experiments to testify the validity and pertinency of the educational program of moving image for practicability in teaching fields, also used questionnaire for its approval.
