인형심리진단평가에 나타난 중년여성의 부부관계 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 인형심리진단평가를 활용하여 중년여성의 부부관계 및 투사 경험을 자기인식, 타인인식, 가족관계 측면에서 심층적으로 이해하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 25년 이상의 결혼기간을 거친 50대의 중년여성 4명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료에 대해 질적 사례분석 방법을 적용하여 분석한 결과 자기인식에서는 참여자들의 방어와 생존, 긍정적 소망, 독립, 강함, 부정적 소망, 약함과 의존, 공격 순으로 도출되었다. 타인인식에서는 대부분의 참여자가 수(數) 상징체계 2로 표현되었으며, 이는 이분법적 원칙, 현실의 문제에 압도당하는 갈등과 분열을 일으키는 혼란스러움을 겪고 있으며 심리 내면에는 균형과 조화를 이루고자 하는 소망을 드러냈다. 한편 가족관계에서는 ‘목적지향향’과 ‘분열형’, ‘세대단절형’과 ‘부친고립형’, ‘밀착형’과 ‘이산형’, ‘균형형’ 등 다양한 가족체계로 드러났다. 연구 참여자들과 그들의 배우자들은 자신의 원 가족과의 미해결 문제를 얼마나 가지고 있는가가 새로운 부부관계를 만들어가는 과정에 큰 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 연구 참여자들은 부부문제의 원인을 배우자에서 찾았던 것으로부터 자신에게도 있음을 통찰하였다. 그리고 가족과 부부관계의 상호작용을 개선하고 가족 간의 화합과 균형을 이루기를 소망하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 중년여성의 자기 및 부부관계 경험에 대해 심층적으로 이해하고 인형심리진단평가의 유용성을 입증함으로써, 상담 및 치료 현장의 개입 도구를 더 확장하는데 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study are to examine middle-aged women’s couple projection experiences in self-awareness, awareness of others, and family relationships with the figure-based psychological diagnostic evaluation and in-depth interviews and understand common meanings among them. For these purposes, the study administered the figure-based psychological diagnostic evaluation with four middle-aged women in their fifties that had been married for 25 years or longer. The analysis results show that the subjects displayed defense and survival most in self-awareness, and they were followed by positive wish, independence, strong, negative wish, weak and dependent, and aggression in the order. In awareness of others, most of the participants were expressed in 2, a numeric symbolic system, which shows that they were undergoing confusion causing conflicts and disruptions overwhelmed by the dichotomous principle and real issues and wished to achieve balance and harmony inside their psychology. In family relationships, they exhibited a variety of family systems including “goal-oriented” and “disrupted”, “generational gap” and “isolation of the father”, “adhered” and “separated”, and “balanced”. The participants and their spouses were under the huge influence of their unresolved issues with their primary families in the process of forming new couple relationships. The present study helped the participants have an insight that they were looking for the cause of their couple issues in their spouses and also responsible for their couple issues. In addition, they wished to improve interactions in family and couple relationships and have harmony and balance in their families. Through the results of this study, it is meaningful to further expand intervention tools in the field of counseling and treatment by in-depth understanding of middle-aged women’s experiences of self- and marital relations, and by proving the usefulness of the puppet psychological diagnosis evaluation.
