보육교사의 창의적 교수행동에 대한 교육요구도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 보육교사가 인식하는 창의적 교수행동에 대한 중요도 및 실행도를 분석하여 창의적 교수행동에 대한 교육 요구를 알아보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 보육교사 273명을 대상으로 창의적 교수행동에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고 t-검증과 Borich 공식, The Locus for Focus 모델을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 조사된 창의적 교수행동의 6개 영역 모두에서 중요도 수준과 실행도 수준이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 영역별 요구도 및 우선순위를 살펴본 결과, 인지적 요인의 확산적 사고와 행위 영역에서는 영유아들에게 스스로 문제해결방법을 발견하도록 시간적 여유 제공, 일반적 지식과 사고기반 영역에서는 영유아에게 해결방법을 알아보도록 한 후 그 중 최적의 해결방법을 도출해 내도록 격려, 여러 감각활용이 가능한 놀이와 활동 제시 등이, 특정영역의 지식기반과 기술 영역에서는 다양한 교수학습 방법을 활용하여 영유아의 흥미를 개발할 수 있도록 격려하기가 요구도의 최우선 순위로 나타났다. 인성적 요인의 동기와 동기유발 영역에서는 영유아에게 자기주도적 학습경험과 발견의 기회 제공과 개인적 흥미를 평가하고 지원하기가, 개방성과 모호함의 허용 영역에서는 영유아에게 즐겁고 실험적인 방법으로 목표를 탐구하고 조사할 기회 제공하기, 어린이집을 전통적인 수업을 하기 위한 장소일 뿐만 아니라 흥미와 모험의 장소로 간주하기 등이 높은 우선순위를 보였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 보육교사의 창의적 교수행동을 증진시키기 위한 교사교육프로그램의 구현 방향성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of childcare teachers regarding the importance of creative teaching behaviors as well as their implementation of such behaviors as to determine educational needs for these creative teaching behaviors. A survey was conducted with 273 childcare teachers to study their creative teaching behaviors, and t-tests were used alongside the Borich formula and the locus for focus model to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were statistically significant differences between the importance and implementation of all six areas of creative teaching behaviors in the investigation. Additionally, as a result of analyzing their needs in each area and prioritizing them accordingly, the top priority for infants and preschoolers was for the provision of time as to solve given problems on their own in relation to the area of divergent thinking and behavior among cognitive factors. In the general knowledge and thinking-based area, the top priorities were encouraging infants and preschoolers to come up with the best possible answer after looking for solutions through the presenting of the kind of play and activities that could allow them to utilize different senses. Encouraging infants and preschoolers to pique their own interest in the areas of general knowledge and technology by using a variety of teaching and learning methods was the top priority in the aforementioned areas. In the motivation and motivating areas among dispositional factors, a high priority was given to offering an opportunity for infants and preschoolers for self-directed learning experiences and discovery, and a similar emphasis was put on the evaluation and support of their personal interests. In the areas of allowing openness and ambiguity, granting infants and preschoolers the chance to explore and investigate goals, as well as treating the daycare center as a place of excitement and adventure as well as a location for traditional learning, were high priorities. Based on these results, the survey suggested a direction for the implementation of teacher education programs to promote creative teaching behaviors among childcare teachers.
