영문 초록

This study is to investigate the effect of brain activity-maze program on brain functions in middle school students. The participants of this study were 20 second grade boys with low self-control. They were divided into 2 groups randomly(Experimental group: 10, Comparison group: 10). The brain activity-maze program was performed after receiving the experimental consent form of students and their parents. The program ran for 20 minutes at a time, 3 times per week during 12 weeks. Data processing was done using SPSS Ver. 20.0 statistical program. The results of the analysis using t-test are as follows. 12 weeks after the experiment First, there were statistically significant differences in impulsiveness and self-centeredness in the experimental group, however there was no difference in all sub-variables of self-control in the comparison group. There was no significant difference between the two groups after the experiment. Second, There were statistically significant differences in Raw Color score and Raw Color-Word score in experimental group, and Raw Word score and Raw Color score in the comparison group of prefrontal executive functions. There was no significant difference between the two groups after the experiment.
