‘Artistic creativity’의 개념 정립을 위한 선행연구 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 ‘Artistic Creativity’의 개념을 정립하기 위한 기초 연구이다. 따라서기초 연구의 첫 번째 단계로서 최근 논쟁이 되고 있는 창의성의 영역성에 대한 관점의 변화를 살펴보고, 1960년대부터 2011년까지 이루어진 ‘Artistic Creativity’를 키워드로 하는 다양한 연구들을 분석하여 크게 다섯 가지로 분류하였다. 정신병리학적 관점에서의 연구, 과학과 같은 타영역 창의성과의 비교연구, 다른 능력과의 상관관계 연구, 사회·경제적 요인과 ‘Artistic Creativity’와의 관계 연구, 그리고 예술이라는 영역 내에서 미술, 음악, 문학 등에서 다루어지는‘Artistic Creativity’ 에 관한 연구들을 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 앞으로 미술 영역에서 ‘Artistic Creativity’의 개념 정립과 구인 설정, 표준화 도구 개발을 위한 시사점과 한계점을 제안하였다. 기존의 연구들은 예술이라는 큰 카테고리 안에서 다양한 관점으로‘ArtisticCreativity’를 조명했다는 점에서는 의의가 있으나, 기본적으로 ‘Art’라는 영역의 구분이 모호한 상태에서 ‘Artistic Creativity’를 다루었으며, 평가 도구를 활용하여 그 구성요인과 특성을 구체적으로 제안하지는 못하였다는 한계를 보였다. 본 연구에서 이루어진 선행연구 고찰은 앞으로 미술 영역에서의 ‘Artistic Creativity’를 연구하는데 기본적인 자료가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

There has been an increased concern with creativity in education. The creativity has been considered as a domain-general ability or domainspecific ability, but nowadays these view changed and many researchers have been studied hybrid position. The purpose of this study were to review of the previous studies on the ‘Artistic Creativity’ in the visual art domain. For the purpose of this study, many previous studies of artistic creativity in various domain were classified and analyzed. In this study, 5 classification criterions is suggested, ① psychopathology ② comparative study with other areas creativity such as science ③ correlation with other abilities ④relationship between ‘Artistic Creativity’ and social/economical factor ⑤‘Artistic Creativity’ in the art and music in terms of the artistic boundaries. Based on this, it was proposed the implication and critical point for the definition of ‘Artistic Creativity’, defining the construct, development of the standardization tools. The existing studies had reviewed the ‘Artistic Creativity’ in a various point of views within the category of Art but basically the definition of ‘Artistic Creativity’ in terms of the domain-specific point of view was not defined and showed some critical point that it had not proposed the specific component and characteristics by using the assesment tools. A review of Previous Studies on the Artistic Creativity in this study will be the basic reference to the ‘Artistic Creativity’ study in the category of the visual art area.
