국문 초록

이 연구는 미술적 지식의 문제를 중심으로 미술교육의 통합성에 관한 의미와 원리를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 지식의 문제를 탐구한 철학의 인식론과 지식의 과정을 탐구한 인지과학을 분석의 도구로 활용하였다. 연구를 통해 미술과 지식에 대한 현재의 개념은 지식에 대한 인식론 철학의 잘못된 전제와 고전적 인지과학의 오류와 연관되어 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이같은 분석을 바탕으로 연구자는 미술을 인간의 독특한 인식 활동으로서, 미술교육을 미술적 인식을 매개로 세계 이해와 참됨의 가치를 경험하는 교육적 실천으로 재정의하였다. 결론적으로 미술교육의 통합성은 미술적 인식 활동에 참여하는 연계적이며 확산적 교육활동에 해당되며 이를 위한 교육의 원리로서 미적 인식, 개인적 의미 만들기, 새롭게 드러내기, 이미지의 맥락 안에 들어오기의 4가지를 제안하였다. 이 연구는 다학문적 연구 방법을 통해 미술적 지식의 고유성과 가치에 대한 이론적 체계를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의를 지니지만 향후 실제의 적용을 통해 이론의 타당성이 검증되고 보완되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to present the meaning and principle of the integration of art education centered on the problem of art knowledge. For this purpose, I used the epistemology which explored the problem of knowledge and the cognitive science which explored the process of knowledge as research method. As a result, the current concept of art and knowledge is based on misunderstandings and errors of the philosophy of knowledge and of classical cognitive science. I defined art as a unique cognitive activity of human beings, and artistic education as an educational practice that experiences the value of world understanding and truthfulness through artistic recognition. In conclusion, the integration of art education is related to participatory and diffuse educational activities that participate in artistic cognition activities. For this purpose, the principle of education is to experience aesthetic cognition, to make personal meaning, to reveal the concealed and unknown from a new point of view, to enter the context of image. This study has significance in that presents the theoretical framework of the uniqueness and value of art knowledge through multi - disciplinary research methods, and the validity of the theory should be verified and supplemented through practical application in the future.
