수묵을 이용한 교육이 아동의 정서지능 발달에 미치는 영향 연구

최근 스마트폰의 보급 등에 따라 전통적인 의미의 미술활동이 아닌 쉽게 접할 수 있는 어플이나 이모티콘 등을 통한 변형된 미술활동이 꾸준한 인기를 얻고 있다. 이러한 시점에 본 연구는 수묵을 이용한 교육이 아동 정서지능에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 연구하기 위해 수묵교육과 정서지능의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구는 경기도에 소재한 초등학교 저학년을 대상으로 정서지능 검사를 위한 수묵을 이용한 교육 프로그램을 구성하였다. 정서지능 검사는 사전 동질성 검사, 사전·중간·추후 Friedman 검증, 실험집단, 통제집단 하위영역 비교 T검증 등을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 실험에 참가하는 남녀 40명 비교분석 결과 전체 남녀의 차이는 없었고, 동질성이 확보되었다. 둘째, 수묵을 이용한 교육 프로그램에서 실험적 처치를 받은 실험집단과 실험적 처치를 받지 않은 통제집단의 사전·중간·추후 분석 결과는 모두 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 실험집단은 사전에서 추후로 갈수록 평균이 높아졌고 통제집단은 사전에서 추후로 갈수록 평균이 낮아졌다. 셋째, 실험집단과 통제집단의 하위영역 비교 T검증에서 정서인식, 정서표현, 감정이입, 정서조절의 사전·중간·추후 전체 분석 결과 사전에서 실험집단이 통제집단의 평균보다 높게 측정되었고, 추후에서 실험집단이 통제집단 평균보다 높게 측정되었다. 이 결과는 수묵을 이용한 교육이 아동의 정서지능에 긍정적 효과를 주었다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

Due to the recent increase in the supply of smart phones, instead of the traditional approach of art activities, the modified art activities through applications and emoticons that can be encountered easily are being popular continuously. In these circumstances, the correlation between learning ink & wash painting and emotional intelligence are to be analyzed to study how learning oriental ink & wash painting has effect on the emotional intelligence of children. The study created an educational program using ink and wash paintings for the emotional intelligence test in the lower grades of elementary schools located in Gyeonggi province. For the emotiona l intelligence test, pre-equivalence test, pre-intermediate-post Fired man verification, and T-verification comparing the subdomains of the test group and the control group were performed. As a result, first of all, the result of the comparative analysis on 40 male & female subjects that participated in the test showed no difference, and homogeneity was secured. Second, in the educational program using ink & wash paintings, the pre-intermediate-post analysis result on the test group that received experimental measures and the control group that did not receive the experimental measures all showed a significant difference. The test group increased in average from pre-analysis to post-analysis, and the control group decreased. Third, in the T-verification comparing the subdomains of the test group and control group, the total pre-intermediate-post average of the emotional awareness, emotional expression, empathy and emotional control showed higher values in the test group than the average of the control group, and in the post-analysis, the test group showed higher average than the average of the control group. From these results, it is considered that the education using ink & wash paintings had a positive effect on children s emotional intelligence.
