국문 초록

본 연구는 미술교과교육의 전문성 신장을 목적으로 하는 두 번째 연구로, 미술교사 역량 강화 관련 첫 번째 연구에 이어 미술교과교육의 내용 체계화가 미술교과교육의 전문성 신장에 견인차가 된다고 보고 미술과 교육과정 및 교과서 분석을 통해 내용 체계화의 가능성을 제시하는 데 중점을 두었다. 이를 위하여 학교 현장에 적용 중인 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 미술 교과서 총 12권(3∼4학년 7권, 5∼6학년 5권)을 분석하여 학습 용어, 학습 활동을 추출하였으며, 내용 체계를 구체화하기 위하여 학년군별 내용 체계의 기준이 될 수 있는 미술 용어를 다시 추출하였다. 그 결과 미술 용어는 3∼4학년보다 5∼6학년에서 더 많이 제시된 것으로 나타났으나, 양적인 차이 자체가 내용 체계화를 의미하지 못하므로, 내용 체계 표준의 한 가능성으로 학년군별 조형 요소와 원리를 재추출하여 이를 중심으로 하는 내용 체계화가 필요함을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 차기 미술과 교육과정 및 학교급별, 학년별 교과서 개발을 위한 학습 내용 선정 및 조직에 있어 내용 체계를 구성하는 기초 자료로서 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The study is the 2nd study of consecutive series on school art education for professional academic development with contents organization and systematization through analyzing art terms in elementary art textbooks(from 3rd to 6th grade). The purpose of this study was to analyze the hierarchical organization and systematization of art terms, and to present the necessity of contents organization and systematization in art education. For this purpose, 12 elementary art textbooks, which were all government-authorized, were analyzed. The analysis was focused on the characteristics on the units and contents of each publisher’s textbooks, considering the main 3 domains of aesthetic experience, expression and art appreciation of 2009 revised National Art Curriculum. As a result of the research, the art terms, design elements and principles for contents organization and systematization of elementary art education were presented. It is expected that the result of this study would be the basis for developing the next National Art Curriculum and art textbooks in organization and systematization of art contents.
