‘기관없는 신체’로 살펴 본 종이와 함께 놀기 미술 교육 프로그램의 생성 특성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 <종이와 함께 놀기> 미술 교육 프로그램이 가진 생성적 특성을 들뢰즈와 가타리의 ‘기관없는 신체’의 개념을 통해 탐색해 보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 예비교사 76명을 대상으로 <종이와 함께 놀기> 미술 교육 프로그램을 실행한 후, 산출된 미술작품과 작업과정이 기록된 녹음 및 사진 파일을 문헌연구와 담화분석의 혼합적 방식을 통해 살펴보았다. 프로그램 분석을 위한 기준으로 기관없는 신체가 가진 생성적 특성인 유기체로부터 벗어나기, 강도와 정동이 흐르게 하기, 분자적 생성과 어셈블리지 형성하기, 탈/재영토화 속에서 욕망하는 기계 되기의 네 가지를 선정하였다. 연구결과 발견점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 작품은 미리 설정된 주제의 부재로 탈중심화 되고, 학습자들은 리좀적 미술 표현 과정과 미술 표현에서의 역할 변화를 경험하였다. 둘째, 작품에서 재료의 강도와 정동, 잠재성이 추구되고 형상과 배경의 경계가 모호하게 표현되는 특징이 발견되었다. 셋째, 학습자들은 분자적 생성 과정을 수행하고 어셈블리지를 형성하며 유동적 의미를 생성하였다. 마지막으로 학습자들은 재료의 탈/재영토화 속에서 욕망하는 기계를 경험하였다. 본 연구는 들뢰즈의 철학을 미술교육에 적용하여 이해하고자 하는데 관심있고, 향후 들뢰즈의 철학을 이용하여 미술교육 프로그램을 구안해 보고자하는 미술교육자들에게 유용하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the characteristics of becoming in an art education program of from a perspective of the Body without organs. For the purpose of this study, complex methods of literature review and discourse analysis were used. Applying to seventy six future elementary school teaching students, I analyzed students art works and files of the voice recordings and photos that students made in their processes to create artworks. The criteria for the analysis of the program were chosen based on the principles of becoming in the Body without organs. They were: 1) escaping from organism, 2) flowing intensities and affects 3) molecular becoming in processes of forming assemblages, 4) desiring machines through de/re-territorialization. Findings were as follows: First, the art works tended to be de-centered due to the absence of a pre-topic, and students experienced rhizomatic procedures and changes in their own roles in the process of art making. Second, artworks explored the intensities, affects of materials and the potentials of the materials, and blurred the boundaries between figure and background. Third, students performed molecular becoming processes, formed assemblages, and made flexible meanings. Finally, students experienced the desiring machine in de/re-territorialization of the materials. This research plays a critical role in helping art educators who are interested in understanding Deleuze s and Guattari s theory in terms of the way to apply this theory to art education, and who attempt to develop an art education program based on Deleuze s and Guattari s theory.
