국문 초록

초등학생들이 접하는 수많은 사물들은 각각의 특성으로 이해되어 세상을 살아가는데 필요한 지혜로 확장된다. 초등학생들이 재료와 용구의 사용에 있어서 특성을 충분히 탐색하여 스스로 이해하고 활용한다면 미술학습에 있어서 획일적인 재료 선택의 인식을 바꾸어서 보다 자유롭고 탐구적인 표현을 하고 다양한 사고를 할 수 있다. 단지 주제표현의 결과물 산출로서 판화교육을 보는 시각에서 눈을 돌려 판화교육 속에서 재료탐색이 가지는 교육적 역할에 주목하여야 한다. 일상생활 속에서 늘상 접하지만 알지 못하는 대상과의 소통으로서, 물질의 성질 탐구로서 판화교육이 어떻게 기능을 할 수 있는지에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 이와 같은 연구의 필요성 아래서 본 연구의 목적은 미술교육에서 재료의 특성 탐구 학습으로서 판화 교육이 어떻게 역할을 할 수 있는지 밝혀내는 것이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 미술교육에서 재료 탐구의 중요성을 확인하고 판화 제작과정에서 사용되는 각종 재료와 도구의 특성을 어떻게 탐색할 수 있는지를 찾고 탐구학습으로서 판화교육의 역할과 교수ㆍ학습의 방향을 탐색한다.

영문 초록

Numerous objects that students encounter are understood by students with their own characteristics. and students expand this to the wisdom needed to live the world. When students use art materials and tools, they will change their perception of uniform material selection in art learning if they fully exploit and understand their characteristics. In art class, students can express freely and think diversely. It is necessary to change the point of view of engraving education by making the result of theme expression. Now, attention should be paid to the educational role of material exploration. As communication with objects unknown in daily life, Research on the role of print education as an exploration of the properties of materials is needed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of print education as an inquiry learning of materials in art education. Researchers confirm the importance of material exploration in art education. And finds the characteristics of various materials and tools used in making prints. We explore the role of engraving education and the direction of teaching and learning as inquiry learning with the found characteristics. Research Results The experience of exploring printmaking fosters students ability to solve and develop original thinking skills. The experience that students experience is not the knowledge that is given and memorized from the outside by the embodied knowledge, but it is the knowledge which leads the true development.
