중·고등학교 학습부진 학생들을 대상으로한 수학 중재연구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 중·고등학교 수학 학습부진 학생들의 수학능력 향상을 위한 효과적인 중재를 파악하고자 2001년 1월부터 2020년 8월까지 발표된 총 23편의 중·고등학교 수학 학습부진 학생을 대상으로한 수학 중재연구들을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 사전-사후 실험-통제집단 비교연구가 9편, 10명 미만의 학생들이 참여한 연구가 9편으로 가장 많이 나타났다. 공학기술을 활용한 중재와 활동중심 중재가 각각 6편, 4편으로 많이 나타났다. 학생들의 수학 학업성취도를 살펴본 연구 중 2편의 연구와 정의적 특성을 살펴본 연구 중 1편의 연구를 제외한 모든 연구에서 학생들의 향상 정도가 높게 나타났고, 결과의 효과크기도 대부분 높았다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 분석대상 연구들의 연구설계와 방법, 연구결과 등에서 나타난 문제점들과 후속연구를 위한 제언 등이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed a total of 23 studies that provided mathematics interventions for middle- and high-school students with mathematical learning difficulties. The studies were published from January 2001 to August 2020. The results of the study identified that 9 studies with pre-post/ intervention-control group and 9 studies which included less than 10 participants were most frequently found in the studies. Also, 6 studies with technology focused intervention and 4 studies with activity focused intervention were most frequently found in the studies. Almost all studies showed that the improvement on mathematical performance and affective characteristics of middle- and high-school students with mathematical learning difficulties. Based on these results, several problems related to the experimental design, methodology, and results identified in the studies and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
