미술치료사의 역량에 관한 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료사들이 미술치료사 역량요소 항목에 대한 중요성을 어느 정도로 인식하고 있으며 실제 장면에서 얼마나 실행하고 있는지 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 미술치료사의 부족한 역량요소를 진단하고 그것을 향상할 수 있는 실천적 대안을 마련하기 위한 객관적인 근거를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 현장에 근무하는 102명의 미술치료사를 대상으로 그들이 인식하는 역량에 대한 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 시행하였다. 그 결과, 미술치료사들의 지식 역량군에 대한 중요도와 실행도의 인식을 비교하였을 때, 14개의 모든 역량요소가 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 다음으로, 미술치료사들의 기술 역량군에 대한 중요도와 실행도의 차이를 비교하였을 때, 8개의 모든 역량요소가 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 마지막으로 미술치료사의 태도 및 개인자질 역량군에 대한 중요도와 실행도의 차이를 비교한 결과 8개의 모든 역량요소가 미술치료사의 중요도와 실행도에 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구는 미술치료현장에서 근무하는 미술치료사의 역량에 대한 인식을 파악하고, 제한점과 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 국내 미술치료사의 전반적인 전문성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 마련하는데 그 근거가 될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to grasp to what extent Korean art therapists perceive the importance of their competency factors and how much they are implementing them in actual scenes. Based on this, the study’s purpose was to diagnose art therapists insufficient competency factors and to present an objective basis for preparing practical alternatives to improve them. For 102 art therapists working in the field, the importance-performance analysis (IPA) was conducted regarding their perceived competency. As a result, when comparing the perception of importance and execution degree of art therapists’ knowledge competency, all 14 competency factors showed significant differences. Next, when comparing the difference between the importance and execution degrees of therapists’ skill competency, all eight competency factors showed significant differences. Lastly, as a result of comparing the difference between the importance and performance of attitude and individual competency group, all eight factors showed a significant difference in the importance and execution of the art therapist. This study investigated the perception of the competence of art therapists working in art therapy fields, and discussed limitations and suggestions for future research. The results of this study are expected to serve as the basis for preparing measures that improve the overall professionalism of Korean art therapists.
