서사해석학에 비추어 본 도덕수업의 방법적 원리

국문 초록

본 연구는 도덕과교육의 질적 도약을 위한 탐색의 일환으로 서사해석학에 기초한 도덕수업의 방법적 원리를 모색하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 먼저 수업모형이 지니고 있는 성격과 그것의 실천양상에 비추어 볼 때 제기될 수 있는 매력과 함정이 무엇인지를 고찰한다. 그런 다음 심성함양이론으로서의 리쾨르(P. Ricoeur)의 서사해석학에 기초하여 심성함양의 심층 논리를 고찰하고 도덕수업의 방법적 원리를 모색한다. 서사해석학에 기초한 도덕수업의 방법적 원리는 첫째 교사의 사람됨의 요소가 녹아든 ‘심술의 원리’, 둘째 진정한 모방을 위한 ‘재현의 원리’, 셋째 사고의 도약을 위한 ‘상상의 변주의 원리’, 넷째 사고와 언어의 관계를 넘어서는 ‘심성의 도약의 원리’이다. 이 네 가지의 방법적 원리는 통념과 달리 도덕수업이 어떠한 성격을 지니고 있는가라는 수업인식론적 차원과 도덕수업이 어떠한 방법상의 변화를 추구해야 하는가라는 수업방법론적 차원에 대한 반성적 이해를 제공해준다는 점에서 특별한 주목의 대상으로 인식될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore methodological principles for mind cultivation in Moral Education based on Narrative Hermeneutics. For this purpose, this study considers what are attractions and entrapments of teaching models in itself, and explores several methodological principles for mind cultivation in Moral Education based on Paul Ricoeur s Narrative Hermeneutics, especially an essay on threefold Mimesis. Paul Ricoeur s methodological thoughts for Moral Education which implicates an essay on threefold Mimesis are summed up as follows. First, it requires artistic activities reflected teacher s character. Secondly, it requires representational and figural activities toward the real Mimesis. Thirdly, it requires variations of imagination for leap of meaning and semantic innovations. Fourthly, it requires leap of moral mind as well as leap of meaning through from the relation of thought and language to language and character. These are very important methodological principles so as to realize the best teaching and learning activities in Moral Education. It fundamentally requests the conversion of thoughts both the aspect of instructional epistemology and instructional methodology.
