양명의 인간형성론에 관한 교육목적론적 이해

국문 초록

이 글은 중국 明代 王守仁의 사상을 도덕적 인간형성의 시각에서 이해하고자 한다. 이로부터 이 글은 다음의 내용을 다루고자 한다. 첫째, 양명 聖論에서 성인됨의 가능성을 특히 성인과 범부의 현실적 입지에 주목하여 검토하고자 하며, 이를 통해 양명 인간이해의 특징을 추출하고자 한다. 둘째, 양명 공부의 전모를 良知 擴充의 관점에서 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 양명 인간형성론의 특징을 살펴보고자 한다. 마지막으로 앞선 내용을 토대로 양명의 인간형성론이 시사하는 교육적 의미를 교육목적의 측면에서 논의하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This Study attempts to understand the thought of Wang, Yang-ming from the viewpoint of Human Being Formation. Yang-ming established the practical theory structure about moral human formation through Simnijeukseol(心卽理說)claiming to advocate ‘Mind is the very Reason’, and Chiyangjiseol(致良知說)claiming to stand for ‘A human has to preserve and expand their inherent morality.’ At that moment, what Yang-ming tried to lean on was Jadeuk(self-awakening), i.e. self-awareness. The reason for Yang-ming to try to depend on self-awareness for the moral life standard is that he diagnosed that the absolute moral practice cannot be assured if the subject of action and the standard of conduct should be understood individually. From this, this study want to cover the following contents. First, This study reviewed the possibility of personality completion with Yng-ming s view of human beings, especially paying attention to the realistic location of Saint and ordinary person. Through this, Yang-ming s characteristics of the human being were extracted. Second, this study analyzes the whole of Yang-ming s Gong-fu theory from the perspective of Yangji-expansion, Finally, based on the above, we will discuss the educational implications of Yang-ming s human formation theory in terms of educational purpose.
