국문 초록

본 연구에서는 초등학생을 위한 풍력에너지 융합인재교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 학교 현장에 적용하여 에너지소양과 과학에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 24명의 초등학교 6학년 학생을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였으며, 에너지소양과 과학에 대한 태도에 관한 사전·사후 검사 결과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 풍력에너지에 관한 융합인재교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 에너지소양에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 풍력에너지에 관한 융합인재교육 프로그램 적용 후 초등학생들의 에너지소양 점수는 전 영역에 걸쳐 향상되는 결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 풍력에너지에 관한 융합인재교육 프로그램은 초등학생들의 과학에 대한 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 과학에 대한 태도의 세부 영역별로 보았을 경우, 전 영역에서 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다 셋째, 풍력에너지에 관한 융합인재교육 프로그램에 대해 초등학생들은 높은 관심과 흥미를 나타내었다. 모둠을 이루어 학생 스스로 사회적 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법을 탐구하고 산출물을 제작했다는 점에서 학생들의 수업에 대한 몰입도를 높이고, 흥미와 관심을 높이는 데 도움이 되었다. 이를 토대로 풍력에너지에 관한 융합인재교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 에너지소양과 과학에 대한 태도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

In this study, we developed STEAM program on wind energy and applied it to elementary school students to investigate the impact on energy literacy and attitudes toward science. To this end, a study was conducted on 24 6th grade elementary school students, and the results of pre- and post-tests on energy literacy and attitudes toward science were analyzed. The results of this study were as follows. First, STEAM programs on wind energy had a positive effect on the energy literacy of elementary school students. After applying STEAM programs on wind energy, the energy literacy score of elementary school students improved in all areas. Second, STEAM programs on wind energy had a positive effect on elementary school students’ attitudes toward science. When looking at the detailed areas of attitude toward science, it was found that it had a positive effect in all areas. Third, elementary students showed a high interest and expressed satisfaction in the STEAM programs on wind energy. As a group, students explored ways to solve social problems on their own and produced outputs, which helped to increase students’ immersion in class and increase their interest and interest. As described above, STEAM programs on wind energy is judged to have a positive effect on the improvement of elementary school students’ energy literacy and attitude toward science.
