음악전공자용 진로장벽검사도구(MCBI) 개발을 위한 탐색적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 음악전공자들이 지각하는 내적·환경적 진로장벽 요인을 객관적으로 평가하고 높은 신뢰도를 가지는 다차원적 진로장벽 측정도구 MCBI(Music Career Barriers Inventory)를 개발하는 것이다. 음악전공 대학생들의 진로장벽을 분석한 선행연구결과를 근거로 재학생 147명을 대상으로 개방형 설문 및 전문가평가를 진행하여 기초검사문항을 도출하였다. 총 3단계의 유목분류과정을 거쳐 1차 기초검사를 위한 9개의 진로장벽 하위요인과 46문항을 선정하였으며 이후 검사도구의 유효성 분석을 위하여 탐색적 요인분석(n=72)을 수행하였다. 연구결과 8개의 진로장벽 하위요인(진로정보 부족, 연주불안, 자신감 부족, 흥미부족, 경제적 문제, 불안정한 직업환경, 신체적 문제, 음악적 능력 부족)과 30개의 문항이 도출되었다. 본 연구는 도구개발을 위한 탐색적 연구이므로 후속연구에서는 확장된 집단을 대상으로 하는 확인적 요인분석(CFA)을 통해 도구의 유효성 검증을 제언하였다. 본 검사도구는 음악대학의 진로지도 현장에서 실제 적용이 가능하며 개인이 희망하는 진로유형 및 개인적 변인의 특성에 따라 주요한 진로장벽의 유형을 분석할 수 있으므로 실증적 자료 누적에 따른 음악전공자 진로연구의 이론적 기틀 확장에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop the Music Career Barrier Inventory (MCBI), a Multidimensional measurement tool that objectively measures the inner-environmental Career Barrier Factor perceived by music major college students. The study, which involved 147 college students majoring in music, first conducted a data analysis (N=347) of Previous studies, which surveyed students Career Barrier. Then we were able to get 11 subfactors and 65 items as a result by conducting an Open-ended survey and exit evaluation. Three expert evaluations were repeated, and because of this, each item could be classified as an accurate factor without overlapping items. Then the pilot test was conducted and after the item was modified, nine career barrier sub-factors and 46 items were selected. In the next step, exploratory factor analysis (n=72) was conducted to analyze the validity of inspection tools, and as a result, 30 questions were selected from eight sub-factors of career barriers (lack of career information, performance anxiety, lack of confidence, lack of interest, economic problems, unstable job environment, physical problems, and lack of musical ability) The measurement tool developed through this study are expected to help career education in universities by clearly measuring career barriers that students perceive by applying differences in personal characteristics such as their desired career path. In addition, the study suggested that the tool s validity should be verified by conducting a CFA(Certified Factor Analysis) on the extended population in subsequent studies.
