집단미술치료가 대학생의 진로스트레스와 진로결정수준에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 집단미술치료가 대학생의 진로스트레스와 진로결정수준에 미치는 효과에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 A시에 위치한 4년제 대학교 3, 4학년 남녀 재학생들 중 진로에 대한 고민을 가지고 미술치료프로그램 참여 동의서에 동의한 자들로 총 12명을 선정하여 실험집단 6명과 통제집단 6명으로 무선으로 배치하였다. 연구기간은 2019년 1월 29일부터 3월 29일까지 실험집단에 한해서 주 1~2회, 매 회기마다 80분씩 총 12회기의 집단미술치료를 실시하였다. 연구도구로는 진로스트레스 척도, 빗속의 사람 그림검사와 진로결정수준 척도를 사용하였고, 맨-휘트니 U 검증(Mann-Whitney U test)과 윌콕슨 부호순위 검증(Wilcoxon signed ranks test)을 통해 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 집단미술치료가 실험집단의 진로스트레스 변화에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 둘째, 집단미술치료가 실험집단의 진로결정수준 변화에 통계적으로 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 셋째, 프로그램 회기별 진행과정에서 집단원들은 진로에 대한 감정을 탐색하고 표출하였고, 진로에 대한 각자의 답을 찾는 변화를 보였다. 본 연구는 대학생의 진로스트레스 완화와 진로결정수준을 향상시킬 수 있었다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of group art therapy on the career stress and career decision level of university students. The participants of the study compromised a total 12 male and female students in their third to fourth year of a university located in A city. They were concerned about career stress and agreed to participate in the art therapy program. They were randomly assigned to an experimental group and a control group with six members in each. The participants in the experimental group underwent 80-minute of 12 art therapy once or twice a week, from January 29, 2019 to March 29, 2019, for a total of 12 sessions. I examined the output of pre-test and post-test quantitative analysis the Career Stress Scale, Person-In-The- Rain Test and Career Decision Level Scale. The data were analyzed by applying the Mann-Whitney U test and Wilcoxon signed ranks test. First, the group art therapy had statistically significant effects on changes in the career stress of the experimental group. Second, the group art therapy had statistically significant effects on changes in the career decision level of the experimental group. Last, in the process of each program stage, the participants in the experimental group explored and expressed their emotions about their careers. Also, they found their own answers about their careers. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it demonstrated the efficacy of art therapy in decreasing career stress and improving career decision level for university students.
