노인요양시설 종사자의 감염관리의 인지도와 수행도에 관한 연구 - 인천광역시 노인요양시설 중심으로 -

국문 초록

이 연구는 노인요양시설 종사자들의 감염관리에 대한 인지도와 수행도를 연구하기 위하여, 인천광역시 소재 노인요양시설 종사자 247명을 대상으로 분석한 결과는 첫째, 노인요양시설은 감염관리 전담직원배치에 대한 인지 53.3% 감염관리지침서 내용인지는 43.2%, 감염관리 교육 필요 95.9%로 나타났다. 둘째, 노인요양시설의 감염관리에 의료기관의 감염관리 척도가 적합한 것으로 검증되었다. 셋째, 감염관리의 인지도 평균은 3.745점, 수행도 평균 3.639점으로 수행도보다 인지도가 유의하게 높게 나타났으며, 인지도와 수행도(r=.524)는 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 노인요양시설의 종사자의 감염관리의 특성에 따라 감염관리수행에 차이는 전담요원배치 인지, 감염관리지침 인지, 교육의 필요성, 교육경험에서 유의하게 나타났다. 이를 토대로 노인요양시설의 감염관리 수행을 높이기 위한 감염관리지침서의 체계화와 감염관리 교육체계 마련을 위한 제도적 기반이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to describe the perception and performance of infection control among the elderly care workers. A structured questionnaire in a self-reported form was used for 300 workers working in the elderly care facilities in Incheon. The preliminary survey was conducted for five days from August 26, 2019, and the main survey was conducted for 17 days from September 16, 2019. Analysis was performed using SPSS WIN 19.0. The analysis results are as follows: Recognition of infection control was 3.73 out of 4 points, and performance of infection control was 3.63 out of 4 points. The drug management area showed the highest score and the protective equipment wearing area showed the lowest score. The more regular workers, the more familiar with the guidelines, the better they knew how to deal with infectious diseases, and the more experienced and trained in infection control, the higher their recognition and performance. Also, in all areas, the higher the recognition, the higher the performance. The results of this study showed that raising recognition could increase performance. To this end, institutional basis for systematization of infection control guidelines and education system for infection control of elderly care facilities is required.
