중도 지적장애인의 다면적 평가를 위한 포괄형 ICF Core Set 개발

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 중도 지적장애인의 건강과 생활전반에 걸친 다면적 평가를 실시하여 다학문적 차원의 팀 접근 시 활용할 수 있는 포괄형 ICF Core Set을 개발하는 것이다. 연구방법: 연구 대상자는 중도 지적장애인의 교육과 복지와 관련 있는 전문가로 총 20명이다. 연구 도구는 이연재와 임혜경(2019)의 연구에서 도출된 ICF의 신체기능, 신체구조, 활동과 참여, 환경요인의 4개 영역으로 구성된 147항목이다. 델파이 조사는 2018년 10월부터 2019년 1월까지 약 3개월이 소요되었다. 조사 방법은 패널들의 개인 e-메일을 통해 송부하고 회신하였으며, 필요한 경우 우편을 통해 자료를 회신받기도 하였다. 수집된 자료는 항목별로 평균(M), 표준편차(SD), 사분위간 점수, 합의도와 수렴도, CVR을 산출하여 적절성을 검토하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, ‘신체기능’, ‘활동과 참여’, ‘환경요인’의 3개 영역에 해당하는 총16장의 82항목이 최종 선정되었다. 둘째, ‘신체기능’영역에서는 총7장의 57항목에서 총5장의 23항목으로 축약되었으며, ‘신체구조’ 영역의 총2장의 11항목은 삭제되었다. 셋째, ‘활동과 참여’영역에서는 총9장의 51항목에서 총8장의 36항목으로 축약되었다. 넷째, ‘환경요인’영역에서는 총3장의 30항목에서 총3장의 23항목으로 축약되었다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구에서는 중도 지적장애인의 다면적 평가를 위하여 총76항목으로 구성된 포괄형 ICF Core Set를 개발하였다. 이는 ICF 분류체계의 1,424항목을 149항목으로 축약한데 이어 다시 82항목으로 축약함으로써 중도 지적장애인의 건강과 생활기능의 다면적 평가에의 활용 가능성을 높이는데 한층 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to develop a comprehensive ICF Core Set that can be used for team access at a multidisciplinary level by conducting a multidimensional assessment of the overall health and life of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities. Method: Participants were 20 experts related to the education and welfare of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities. This study used 147 extracted items, consisting of four areas(body function and structure, activities and participation, environmental factors, contextual factors) of ICF by Lee and Lim (2019). Delphi survey took about three months from October 2018 to January 2019. The items of the question were sent and replied via personal e-mail from the panel. The collected data were analyzed for appropriateness by calculating mean (M), standard deviation (SD), quartile scores, consensus and convergence, and CVRs by each item. Results: First, 82 items corresponding to three areas of physical function, activity and participation, and environmental factors were calculated. Second, in the area of physical function, 57 items to 23 items were abbreviated, and the items regarding body structure were deleted. Third, in the areas of activities and participation, 51 items were abbreviated to 36 items. Fourth, environmental factors abbreviated from 30 items to 23 items. Discussion and Conclusion: In this study, a comprehensive ICF Core Set consisting of 82 items, was developed for the multidimensional evaluation of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities. It is expected that this will further contribute to enhancing the usefulness of the multidimensional assessment of the health and living functions of individuals with severe intellectual disabilities.
