고등학교 계열별 고등학생들의 교육적 성과 차이 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생들의 직업관, 진로관 및 교육관에 대한 고등학교 계열별(인문계, 공업계, 상업계 차이 분석을 통해 고등학교 계열화와 학생들의 교육적 성과사이의 관계에 대한 시사점을 도출해보고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상자는 부산광역시 소재 인문계 및 전문계(공업계, 상업계) 고등학교 3학년에 재학 중인 946명의 학생들이다. 학생들의 배경, 직업관, 진로관, 교육관을 조사하기 위하여 총 20문항으로 구성된 질문지를 이용하였다 질문지를 통해 수집된 자료는 직업관, 진로관, 교육관을 따로 분리하여 일원변량분석 및 Scheffe 사후검증을 사용하여 분석되었다. 주요 연구결과 살펴보면 전체적으로 고등학교 계열별로 학생들의 직업관, 진로관, 교육관에 있어서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다 좀 더 구체적으로 직업관의 1개 하위영역(나의 특성)에서, 진로관의 8개 하위영역(나의 특성, 학교성적, 계획실천, 주위권유, 가정형편, 취직의 용이성, 장래희망, 교육기간) 모두에서, 그리고 교육관의 4개 하위영역(전문지식, 명예나 사회적 위신, 직업수단, 결혼이나 인간관계)에서 고등학교 계열별로 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 특히 진로관과 교육관의 하위영역에서는 인문계와 전문계(공업계, 상업계) 고등학교 학생들 사이에 두드러진 차이가 있었다. 각 하위영역에 대한 구체적인 연구 결과를 제시하였으며 각 결과에 대한 논의를 통해 고등학교 계열화와 학생들의 교육적 성과 사이의 관계에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to draw some suggestions on the relationship between high school tracking and students` educational outcomes by analyzing the differences in students` job-related, course-related, and educational perspective by high school track(general, industrial, and commercial high school). The sample for the study was 946 third grade of high school students who were attending 20 public high schools(10 general, 4 industrial, and 6 commercial high schools) located in Busan. In order to survey students` backgrow1d, job-related, course-related, and educational perspective, a questionnaire including a total of 20 items was used. The collected data from the questionnaire were analyzed through one-way analysis of variance(one-way ANOVA) and individual comparison by Scheffe. The results analyzed separately by job-related course-related, and educational perspectives indicated that there were differences in students` job-related, course-related, and educational perspective by high school track. More specifically, they showed that there were differences in one sub-area of job-related perspective, eight sub-areas of course-related perspective, and four sub-areas of educational perspective. In particular, there were remarkable differences in the sub-areas of course-related and educational perspective between students in general high school and ones in vocational high school. Specific results on each sub-scale were presented and through discussions on each result, same suggestions between high school tracking and students` educational outcomes were presented.
