국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 초등체육수업에서 교사의 동기부여방식과 과제가치 및 과제지속의도의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 편의표본추출법을 사용하여 수도권 소재 초등학생들을 대상으로 설문 지 총 507부를 최종 유효 표본으로 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS Ver 18.0과 AMOS 18.0 소프트웨어를 활용하 여 전체 모형의 적합도 검증을 확인하고 각각의 가설들을 검증하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등체육수 업에서 교사의 동기부여방식은 과제가치의 하위요인인 효용가치(유용성), 내적가치(흥미), 획득가치(중요성)에 대부 분 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다만 동기부여방식의 하위 요인 중 통제적 방식은 과제가치의 하위 요인인 획득가치에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 과제가치의 하위요인인 효용가치, 내적가치, 획득가 치는 과제지속의도에 모두 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 동기부여방식의 하위요인 중 자율성지 지 방식은 학생의 과제지속의도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 통제적 방식은 과제지속의도에 유 의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 초등체육수업에서 학생들의 과제지속의도를 높이기 위해서는 교 사의 동기부여방식이 매우 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있다. 마지막으로 후속연구에서는 학생의 수업 참여에 대한 동기 부여를 하기 위한 교사의 전문성 개발 등에 대한 체계적인 교육 프로그램 개발 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among teachers’ motivating style, task value and the intention of task persistence in elementary physical education classes. In order to achieve this purpose, a total of 507 questionnaires were used as the final valid sample for elementary school students in the metropolitan area using the convenience sampling method. For data processing, SPSS Ver 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 software were used to verify the fit of the entire model and then individual hypotheses were verified. The results are as follows. First, in the elementary physical education classes, the teachers’ motivating style had a positive effect on utility value (usefulness), internal value (interest), and acquisition value (importance). However, the controlling style, which is one of sub-factors of teacher motivating style, had no effect on acqusition value. Second, the utility, internal, and acqusition value of sub-factors of task value had a positive effect on students’ intention of task persistence. Third, autonomy support style, which is one of sub-factors of teacher motivating style, had a positive effect on students intention of task persistence but controlling style had no effect on students’ intention of task persistence. Therefore, it can be found that the teachers’ motivating style is a very important factor to increase the students intention of task persistence in elementary physical education classes. In the future study, a systematic education program development study on the professional development for teachers to motivate students to participate in class should be conducted.
