해양경찰관의 죽음에 대한 태도 영향요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 해양경찰관의 죽음에 대한 태도, 영적 안녕, 생의 의미 및 자아존중감 정도를 알아보고 이들 간의 관계를 파악함으로써 해양경찰관을 위한 죽음교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료 제공을 위하여 시행하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2018년 3월 1일부터 7월 30일까지 부산, 경남에서 근무하는 해양경찰관 168명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN(Ver. 21.0)을 이용하여 Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 해양경찰관의 죽음에 대한 태도, 영적 안녕과 생의 의미, 자아존중감은 모두 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 대상자의 죽음에 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감(β=.64), 생의 의미(β=.62) 영적안녕(β=.52) 순으로 나타났으며, 총 설명력은 62.1%로 나타났다. 앞으로 반복 연구를 통해 해양경찰관의 죽음에 대한 태도를 파악해 보고 긍정적으로 할 수 있는 연구가 지속적으로 진행되어야 하고 공인된 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was conducted to provide basic data for the development of a death education program for a marine police officer by examining the attitude, spiritual well-being, meaning of life, and self-esteem of the marine police officer. The data collection period targeted 168 marine police officers working in Busan and Gyeongnam from March 1 to July 30, 2018. The collected data were analyzed by Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, Multiple regression using SPSS WIN (Ver. 21.0). Marine police officers attitudes toward death, spiritual well-being, meaning of life, and self-esteem were all positively correlated. The factors affecting the attitude of the subject s death were self-esteem (β = .64), life meaning (β = .62), and spiritual well-being (β = .52). The total explanatory power was 62.1%. . In the future, through repeated studies, it is necessary to continuously research and understand the attitudes of the maritime police officers toward death and to develop positively recognized edcational programs.
