직업계고 교사 및 취업지원관이 인식하는 취업지원 업무 중요도와 수행수준

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 직업계고 취업지원 담당교사와 취업지원관의 취업지원 업무를 종합하고, 이들의 취업지원 업무의 중요도와 수행수준을 구명하는 데 있었다. 이를 위하여 직업계고 취업지원 담당교사 및 취업지원관의 취업지원 업무모델을 개발하고, 그들이 인식하는 세부업무별 중요도와 수행수준을 분석하였다. 조사는 직업계고의 취업지원 부서에 근무 중인 교사 및 취업지원관을 대상으로 2018년 7월에 설문지를 활용하여 이루어졌으며, 총 205개 학교의 556명이 응답한 결과를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 학생-기업 연계, 현장실습, 취업 관련 데이터베이스 구축 영역에서 업무의 중요도와 수행수준 간 차이가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 토대로 도출한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선행연구를 기반으로 직업계고 취업지원 업무를 종합하여 총 43개의 세부업무를 도출하였으며, 이를 토대로 향후 실무 현장의 업무 명확화와 원활한 협업을 기대할 수 있다. 둘째, 취업연계 지원 업무 중 취업지원 계획과 취업처 발굴 및 관리, 취업준비생 지원 업무는 매우 중요하며, 이의 역할 수행에 대한 지원이 요구된다. 셋째, 취업역량 개발 업무 중 현장실습과 관련된 일부 세부업무 영역에서는 교육부 및 시·도 취업지원센터의 제도적 지원이 필요하다. 넷째, 취업지원 인프라 관리 업무는 다른 업무들에 비해 현장에서의 중요성이 상대적으로 낮지만 학생 특성 및 취업역량 파악과 기업체 정보 조사와 같은 세부업무에 대해서는 수행수준의 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study was aimed at structuring the employment support tasks of the vocational high school teachers in charge of employment support and employment support officers, and finding out the level of importance and implementation of their tasks. To that end, an employment support task model was developed for the vocational high school teachers and employment support officers; and the level of importance and implementation of each sub-task in the model was analyzed. The survey was distributed to the vocational high school teachers and employment support officers working at the employment support department in vocational high school in July 2018, resulting in a total of 556 responses from 205 schools. The results showed that there was a significant gap between the level of importance and implementation especially in the sectors of connecting students with companies, providing field study, creating employment-related database. The key conclusions are as follows: a) a total of 43 sub-tasks were drawn from the structured tasks of employment support at vocational high schools, and they are expected to help specifying on-site tasks and promoting active cooperation; b) among employment support tasks, planning employment support, exploring and managing companies to hire students in the future, and supporting jobseeking students are so important that support for these tasks is required; c) field study-related sub-tasks of the employment competency development task partly need institutional support from the Ministry of Education and the Metropolitan ·Provincial Employment Support Centers; d) notwithstanding relatively less importance that the employment support infrastructure management task has in field, its sub-tasks such as identifying characteristics and employment competency of students and searching for company information need to be improved.
