국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 특성화고 졸업생의 노동시장 이행을 위해 산업체 인사 담당자와 특성화고 고졸 재직자를 대상으로 졸업생들의 업무 수행 실태, 특성화고 운영 개선 방안 등을 파악하고, 특성화고의 발전 방향에 관한 인식 및 요구를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 노동시장 이행 이해관계자인 특성화고 졸업생 채용 기업의 인사 담당자(이하 산업체 인사 담당자) 9명과 농업 ·공업 ·상업 계열별로 특성화고 고졸 재직자(이하 고졸 재직자) 5명을 대상으로 FGI(focus group interview, 이하 FGI)를 실시하였다. 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 산업체 인사 담당자와 고졸 재직자 모두 교과과정 내에서 보통교과와 직업기초능력을 강조하였으며 산업체 인사 담당자는 이와 더불어 인성교육의 필요성을 강조하였다. 둘째, 산업체 인사 담당자는 고졸 재직자의 업무 수행 역량에 만족하였고, 졸업생이 적절한 직무 수행 능력을 갖춘다면 채용할 의사가 있다고 인식하였다. 셋째, 고졸 재직자들은 노동시장 이행에 있어서 교육환경이 많이 개선되었지만, 전문성 있는 전문교과 교사들의 충원과 체계적인 교육 인프라 개선이 요구된다고 하였다. 넷째, 효과적인 취업 및 진로지도를 위해서는 학교 차원에서의 지원이 중요하며 산업체 인사 담당자와 고졸 재직자 모두 특성화고에서의 학교 차원의 취업 및 진로지도의 중요성을 언급하였다. 다섯째, 산업체 인사 담당자와 고졸 재직자 모두 특성화고의 특성을 반영한 인프라 개선 및 이를 지원하기 위한 제도적인 개선이 필요함을 언급하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 향후 특성화고 졸업생의 노동시장 이행에 대한 실천적 제언 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to present operational improvement measures and draw practical and academic implications by conducting recognition and demand analysis related to the implementation of labor market by graduates of specialized high schools. We conducted FGI (Focus Group Interview) with industry personnel and graduates of specialized high schools. In summary, the results of this study were as follows. First, both industry personnel and specialized high school graduates noticed the need for personality education along with the emphasis on general subjects and job basic skills within the curriculum. Second, industry personnel were satisfied with the job competencies of specialized high school graduates and recognized that graduates would be willing to hire if they had adequate job performance. Third, the specialized high school graduates said that although the educational environment was improved in the labor market implementation, the recruitment of professional major subject teachers and the systematic educational infrastructure were still required. Fourth, both industry personnel and specialized high school graduates mentioned the importance of school-level employment and career guidance in specialized high schools. Fifth, both industry personnel and specialized high school graduates mentioned improve infrastructure reflecting the characteristics of specialized high schools and institutional improvements to support them. On the basis of these results, this study presented practical suggestions for future specialized high school graduates labor market implementation and suggestions for further research.
