국문 초록

중세 최초의 대학 볼로냐에서 의학부가 시작되었고, 이때부터 의학교육은 형식적 교육의 형태로서 교육과정을 가지고, 석사(master), 박사(doctor)등의 자격을 취득하고 환자를 진료하였다. 체계적인 학교와 교육과정을 갖추어 나간 것은 20세기 현대 교육에서 시작되고, 이후 의학교육과정은 눈부신 발전을 하게 된다. 20세기 과학을 강조한 의학교육이 이루어졌고, 최근 의학교육에서는 의료인문학 교육과정을 강조하고 있다. 의료인문학은 문학, 철학, 예술 둥 기존의 인문학을 의학에 포함하는 것이고, 의학교육에서 그 중요성을 인식하고 교육적 적용에 대한 많은 노력이 있다. 의료인문학 교육의 중요한 방법 중 하나는 내러티브를 적용한 교육이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 내러티브를 현재 의과대학 교육과정에 실제 적용하는데 구체적인 방법과 평가 등의 문제로 대한 많은 어려움이 있다. 따라서 이후 내러티브 의학교육에 대한 이론과 실제 의과대학에서 내러티브 교육을 적용할 수 있는 많은 후속 연구가 될 수 있기를 기대한다

영문 초록

The first medical school in the Middle Ages started in Bologna, since then, medical education has been a form of formal education, has a curriculum, acquired the qualifications of master and doctor, and treated patients. The systematic curriculum began with the modern education of the 20th century, and the medical curriculum has made remarkable progress. In the 20th century, medical education with emphasis on science was achieved, and recent medical education emphasizes curriculum of medical humanities. Medical humanities include literacy, philosophy, arts, and traditional humanities in medicine, there are many efforts to recognize the importance of medical education and to apply education. One of the important methods of medical humanities education is narrative applied education. However, there are many difficulties in the way of applying the narrative to the curriculum of the medical college. Thus, the theory of narrative medicine education, it is expected that many future researches that apply narrative education in medical school will be possible.
