예비 문화예술교육사 현장 실습에 관한 현황 조사

국문 초록

이 연구는 예비 문화예술교육사의 필수 교과목인 「문화예술교육 현장의 이해와 실습」 수업 과정 중 현장에서의 직무능력을 높이기 위해 진행하는 현장실습에 대해 설문조사를 통해 현황을 파악하고 문제점을 도출하여 현 이수과정의 질적 개선을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 대상은 예비 문화예술교육사 70명으로 실습 전, 실습 중, 실습 후로 구분된 항목에 대해 설문조사를 진행하였다. 설문조사 결과, 첫째, 문화예술교육사에 대한 사회적인 인식 수준이 낮아 실습 신청단계에서 실습을 거부당하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 실습에서의 주 활동은 참관 수준의 실습이나 수업 보조, 스텝의 역할을 하는 경우가 대부분으로 교육이외의 기획, 진행, 분석, 평가 부분에 대한 실습 참여는 사실상 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다양한 대상자에 대한 교수법이 부족하여 실습 초반에는 적극적으로 참여하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 예비 문화예술교육사들 대부분은 현장실습이 대상자에 대한 이해와 다양한 수업방법에 대해 고민하게 되는 계기가 된 것으로 나타나 향후 이 연구를 통해 나타난 문제점이 개선될 경우, 문화예술교육사의 배출이 더욱 활성화될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the current situation and finds out problems through surveys on field practices conducted to enhance job ability in the field during the course of “Understanding and Practice of Arts and Cultural Education Field,” which is an essential course of preliminary arts and cultural education to provide basic data for improving the quality of the current course. A survey was conducted on 70 preliminary arts and cultural educators for the categories classified as before, during and after the field training. The results of the study were as follows. First, problem was that the level of social awareness on arts and cultural educators was low, which resulted in the students being rejected at the stage of applying for training. Second, Most of the time, they play the role of assistants and staffs, and there is almost no practical participation in the planning, process, analysis and evaluation areas other than education. Third, there is a lack of teaching methods for various subjects caused to no active participation. However, most preliminary arts and cultural educators seemed to have a chance to understand about the subjects and various teaching methods. It is expected that their emissions will be further activated.
