국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 질적 자료 분석을 통하여, 해체가족 구성원의 외상 후 성장 경험을 탐색하는 데 있다. 본 연구 수행을 위한 연구문제는 ‘해체가족 구성원의 외상 후 성장 경험은 어떤 과정으로 구성되는가?’로 상정하였다. 연구에 필요한 자료는 이론에 근거한 의도적 표집방법으로 선정한 9명의 참여자들에게서 자료를 제공받았다. 연구 방법으로는 근거이론(Cobin & Strauss, 2015) 분석방법으로 자료를 분석하고 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 가족해체를 겪은 후 성장에 이르는 과정은 『해체 단계 → 혼돈 단계 ↔ 대처 단계 ↔ 순환 단계 ↔ 재구성 단계 ↔ 주체 단계』로 구성되었다. 둘째, 외상 후 성장적 변화의 과정은 『대처·사고·감정 간 작용의 순환』 중심으로 나타났다. 셋째, 외상 후 성장 과정 전반에 사회문화적 작용이 나타났다. 본 연구는 가족해체로 고통받는 내담자들에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 돕고, 상담현장에서 효과적인 상담중재를 위한 기초자료로써 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to construct the posttraumatic growth process of disorganized family members from empirical reality. The suggested research problem: what is the process of posttraumatic growth experience for disorganized family members? Data was obtained from nine participants selected via theory-based intentional sampling methods. Cobin & Strauss (2015) analysis method was used to analyze data and derive the following results. First, the process leading to growth after experiencing the family disorganization was: 「disorganization → chaos ↔ coping ↔ circulation ↔ reconstructing ↔ self」. Second, the process of posttraumatic growth change appeared to be centered on the cycle of interaction between coping, thoughts and emotions. Third, socio - cultural activities appeared throughout the posttraumatic growth process. The significance of this study is that it provided a deeper understanding of clients suffering from the trauma of family disorganization as well as basic data for effective counseling.
