키워드 네트워크 방법론을 통한 미국과 국내 재활심리학의 연구주제 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 미국과 국내 재활심리학 연구의 주제를 비교 분석함으로써 국내 재활심리학의 발전과제를 제시하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여, 미국심리학회의 재활심리 분과(APA-Division 22)에서 발간하는 「Rehabilitation Psychology」에 2010년부터 2017년까지 게재된 총 379편의 논문을 대상으로 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하고 국내의 선행연구와의 비교 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국내 재활심리학의 주요 키워드는 발달단계에 따른 대상자의 구분 , 중재방안의 종류 , 심리적 증상이나 심리학적 변인 과 관련되었다면, 미국 내 주요 키워드는 장애유형에 따른 대상자의 구분 , 측정도구의 개발과 적용 , 심리적 증상이나 심리학적 변인 과 관련된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 키워드의 중심성을 비교한 결과, 국내의 연구는 장애아 부모와 교사의 스트레스 및 아동과 청소년의 적응 이 주요 연구주제이며 중재방안으로서 미술치료와 집단상담에 관한 연구가 다수 수행된 것으로 나타났으나, 미국의 연구는 뇌손상과 다발성 경화증 환자 및 그 보호자를 대상으로 한 재활 이 주요 연구주제이며 심리측정도구에 관한 연구가 다수 수행된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 차이가 발생한 원인으로 국내 재활심리사 자격의 비제도화를 지적하며 이러한 격차를 해소하고 학문적 발전을 이루기 위한 선행과제로 재활심리사의 국가 자격화를 제안한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the development of domestic rehabilitation psychology research by analyzing and comparing research focus trends in the United States (US) and domestic. A keyword network analysis of 379 papers from a US journal (Rehabilitation Psychology, Division 22, APA) published between 2010 and 2017 was conducted and compared with the same analysis in Korea. The primary keywords in domestic rehabilitation psychology were associated with, “classification of subjects according to developmental stage,” “type of intervention,” and “psychological symptoms or psychological variables”, vs US articles related to the, “classification of subjects according to disability type,” “development and application of measurement tools,” and “psychological symptoms or psychological variables.” By comparing the centrality index of keywords, the main research topics in domestic research were, “stress of parents and teachers of disabled children” and “adaptation of children and adolescents.” Further, extensive research on art therapy and group counseling was conducted with relation to intervention plans. Conversely, the primary topics in US research were, “rehabilitation for brain damage and multiple sclerosis patients and their caregivers,” as well as a number of studies emphasizing psychological measurement tools. Authors suggest the primary reason for these differences, and ultimately the research gap presented, is the non-institutionalization of rehabilitation psychology qualifications in Korea. With this in mind, the benefits of creating a national rehabilitation psychology certification are discussed.
