영문 초록

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical usefulness of coronary magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) in patients with pediatric Kawasaki disease. Materials and Methods: 9 consecutive patients (5 male; mean age, 7.5 years) were prospectively included in this study. Coronary MRA was performed using both three-point technique and whole-heart technique in all patients. For comparing with two coronary MRA techniques, we evaluated the visibility of coronary segment on coronary MRA by 5 grading system. Results: In all patients, coronary MRA was performed without any problem. Seven patients show normal coronary MRA. One patient shows multiple small aneurysm at RCA and LAD, the other patient show mild dilatation of left main coronary artery. On coronary MRA, the visibility of coronary artery is not different between two techniques except middle and distal LAD. However, whole-heart coronary MRA technique showed shorter scan time and more visualization of coronary arteries than three-point technique (4.440.73 V5 2.331.12， 1.891.17 0.671.32; P<0.05). Conclusion: Coronary MRA is useful in patients with pediatric Kawasaki disease. Whole-heart coronary MRA is more useful for the visualization of coronary arteries.
