국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 중학교 통합학급 비장애학생에게 통합교육에 대한 경험을 들어봄으로써 그 교육적 의미를 탐색해보는데 있었다. 연구 참여자는 한 중학교의 1학년에 재학 중인 통합학급 비장애학생 16명이며, 반구조화된 개별면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 반복적 비교분석법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과, ‘가깝지만 낯선 통합교육’, ‘익숙함을 넘어 이해로’, ‘같이 걷자, 친구야!’라는 3개의 상위범주와 6개의 하위범주, 19개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 중학교 환경에서의 통합교육 내실화를 위해서는 첫째, 장애에 대한 의료적 관점을 벗어나 사회적 모델 관점에서 생태학적 접근을 통한 인식개선 노력이 필요하며, 둘째, 급변하는 중학생의 심리정서적 상태와 발달단계적 특성을 고려하여 보다 역동적인 통합교육 프로그램을 제공할 필요가 있으며, 셋째, 비학업적 시간을 활용하여 비장애학생과 특수교육대상학생이 소통할 수 있는 통합교육 프로그램을 더 많이 제공해야함을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the educational meaning of non-disabled students in middle school inclusive class by listening to their experiences. Participants were 16 non-disabled students in an inclusive class in the first grade of a middle school, and data were collected through semi-structured individual interviews, and the data collected were analyzed by constant comparison method. As a result, three higher categories, six subcategories, and 19 semantic units were derived; “Near but unfamiliar inclusive education,” “Beyond familiarity, to understanding,” and “Let s walk together, friends!”. In order to improve inclusive education in the middle school environment, firstly, it is necessary to make efforts to improve awareness through the ecological approach from the social model point of view, rather than from the medical point of view of disability. Therefore, it was necessary to provide a more dynamic inclusive education program, and third, it was confirmed that more inclusive education programs should be provided for non-disabled students and students with special needs to communicate using non-academic time.
