「깍두기」가 있는 전래놀이가 발달장애아동의 사회적 상호작용 및 비장애아동의 장애수용태도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 「깍두기」가 있는 전래놀이가 발달장애아동의 사회적 상호작용 및 비장애아동의 장애수용태도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 D시에 소재한 초등학교 특수학급에 다니는 발달장애아동 3명과 비장애아동 33명을 대상으로 아침놀이 및 중간놀이 시간에 「깍두기」가 있는 전래놀이를 실시하였다. 발달장애아동 1명과 비장애아동 11명이 각각 한 팀으로 발달장애아동이 「깍두기」가 되어 2~3주간 10회의 전래놀이를 하였다. 발달장애아동의 사회적 상호작용을 관찰하여 행동측정을 하였으며, 비장애아동의 장애수용태도를 측정하고자 활동선호척도검사를 실사하여 대응표본 t검정을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 발달장애아동 2명의 긍정적 상호작용이 증가하고, 부정적 상호작용은 눈에 띄게 감소하였으며, 나머지 발달장애 1명은 긍정적 상호작용 및 부정적 상호작용의 질적인 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 비장애아동의 장애수용태도에 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 본 연구는 발달장애아동에게 「깍두기」역할을 부여하여, 교육현장에서 발달장애아동과 비장애아동의 실효성있는 놀이를 시도했다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Korean traditional play with ｢KAKDUGI｣ on the social interactions of children with developmental disabilities and non-disabled children s attitude of disability acceptance. For this purpose, the investigator administered traditional play with ｢KAKDUGI｣ during the morning and middle play time with three children with developmental disabilities and 33 non-disabled children in a special class at an elementary school in D City. A team of one child with developmental disabilities and 11 non-disabled children participated in ten sessions of the traditional play for two or three weeks with the child with developmental disabilities playing ｢KAKDUGI｣. The social interactions of children with developmental disabilities were observed to measure their behavior. The attitude of disability acceptance among non-disabled children was measured with the activity preference inventory and tested with a paired-sample t-test. The findings were as follows: first, two children with developmental disabilities increased in positive interactions and made a visible decrease in negative ones. The other child with developmental disabilities showed qualitative changes to their positive and negative interactions. Secondly, there were significant differences in the attitude of disability acceptance among non-disabled children. The present study is significant in that it made an attempt at effective play for both children with developmental disabilities and non-disabled children in the field of education by granting the role of ｢KAKDUGI｣ to children with developmental disabilities.
