위대한 발명가의 ‘발명품 을 소재로 한 발명교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 위대한 발명가의 ‘발명품’을 소재로 한 발명교육 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하여 발명학습동기에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 효과를 확인하는 것이다. 이는 학교 현장에서 발명교육 프로그램을 체계적으로 제고함으로써 발명교육의 확산과 질적 강화에 기초자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 위대한 발명가의 ‘발명품’을 소재로 한 발명교육 프로그램은 절차적 모형(준비, 분석, 설계, 개발, 실행, 평가의 6단계) 개발을 통해 발명교육 프로그램요약도, 학생용 워크북, 교사용 지도서 등을 개발하였고, 발명교육 프로그램에 대한 전문가 검증을 통해 타당성을 확보한 후 실제 수업에 적용하였다. 둘째, 개발된 발명교육 프로그램에 발명학습동기검사(IMMS)지를 사용하여 사전, 사후 검사한 결과 발명학습동기에서는 통계적으로 유의한 차이(p<0.05)가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 발명학습동기 하위 요소(주의집중, 관련성, 자신감, 만족감)별 분석에서는 4개 하위 요소 모두 t값이 ±1.96보다 크고, 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다(p<0.05). 따라서 위대한 발명가의 ‘발명품 을 소재로 한 발명교육 프로그램 개발이 중학생의 발명학습동기에 미치는 영향이 효과적임을 검증하였다. 또한 발명교육 프로그램을 현장에 적용한 결과로서 학습자 평가 결과를 보면, 전체 문항의 평균이 4.13점(5점 만점)으로 발명교육 프로그램에 대해 만족도가 높았으며, 교수자 평가 결과도 개발된 발명교육 프로그램을 매우 효과적으로 평가하였다. 학습자와 교수자의 의견을 수렴하여 최종적으로 위대한 발명가의 ‘발명품’을 소재로 한 발명교육 프로그램을 개선하고 완성하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to develop the invention education program with the inventions of great inventors as the materials and to establish what effects the application of it exerts on the invention learning motivation. It will also provide primary data for diffusion and qualitative reinforcement of invention education by enhancing systematically the invention education program in school education field. First, the invention education program using the inventions of great inventors as materials developed the summary chart of invention education program, workbook for students through the procedural model (6 stages: preparation, analysis, design, development, practice, and evaluation), and the validity was secured through expert verification of the invention education program and it was applied to actual classes. Second, as the results of pre and post tests on the developed invention education program using invention learning motivation test, it could be confirmed that there were statistically significant differences (p<0.05). In the analysis on invention learning subordinate factors (attention concentration, relevance, confidence, satisfaction), The t-value of all of the subordinate factors was greater than ±1.96 and significant differences were confirmed (p<0.05). Accordingly, it was verified that the development of the invention education program with the inventions of great inventors as materials effectively influenced the invention learning motivation of middle school students. And in the results of learners evaluation as a result of the application of the invention education program, the average score of the entire questions was 4.13 (on a 5-point scale), showing a high degree of satisfaction with the invention education program, and also in the learners evaluation results, the developed invention education program was evaluated as highly effective. Gathering the opinions of learners and teachers, the invention education program with the inventions of great inventors as materials were improved and completed.
