특성화 고교 출신 취업자의 직장 생활 만족도와 현장 실습 요인간의 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 현장 실습에 참가한 특성화 고교생이 취업으로 진로를 결정하는데 영향을 미친 현장 실습 요인과 직장 생활 만족도와의 관계를 분석하여 현장실습에 참여한 특성화 고교생의 취업 결정과 취업 지속을 위한 효율적인 현장실습의 계획과 운영에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 전국의 공업계 특성화 고교 졸업자 중에서 고교 재학 중에 현장 실습에 참여하여 해당 산업체에서 근무 중인 취업자 301명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 이중 240명(79.7%)이 응답한 설문 조사지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과를 도출하기 위해 다중 회귀 분석, 기술 통계, 일원 배치 분산 분석, t검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화 고교 출신 취업자는 대체로 직장 생활에 만족하고 있으며 직장생활 만족도가 높을수록 향후 취업을 지속하거나 직무 관련 분야로 진로를 결정하는 경향이 있다. 둘째, 현장 실습 하위 요인 중에서 직장 생활과 성격과의 부합성, 직무와 흥미와의 부합성, 산업체의 성장 가능성, 직장 내의 평등, 고용안정성, 산업체의 지리적 위치가 취업 진로 결정에 미치는 영향이 클수록 직장 생활 만족도는 높아진 반면, 직무와 전공 및 자격증과의 부합성과 임금이 취업 진로 결정에 미치는 영향이 클수록 직장 생활 만족도는 낮아졌다. 따라서 현장 실습에 참여하는 특성화 고교생의 직장 생활 만족도를 향상시키기 위해서는 특성화 고교가 임금과 학생의 전공 및 자격증보다는 산업체의 직무·성장성·고용성·직원간의 평등성·지리적 접근성 등과 관련된 산업체 정보와 학생의 성격·흥미·직업 가치 등의 개인 특성을 더 우선적으로 고려하여 현장 실습을 운영하고, 산업체의 요구에 부합할 수 있는 교육과정의 운영을 통하여 학생의 직무 능력을 향상시키는 것이 바람직하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data necessary to improve the planning and operations for an effective on-the-job training (OJT) by analyzing relation between working life satisfaction (WLS) and OJT factors that have an influence on students deciding on a career for employment (DCE). The survey was performed with 301 employees who are working in the industrial institutions including the OJT, among the nation s specialized technical high school graduates. 240 questionnaires were analyzed. The major results of this study are as following. First, the employees from the SHS are generally satisfied with their working life, and the employees who have high WLS tend to decide on a career for continuous employment or job related areas after their current status. Second, the higher the influences of OJT sub-factors on DCE, such as ‘the correspondence of personality and working life , ‘the correspondence of interest and job , ‘the feasibility in growth of industrial institutions , ‘the equality in work organization , ‘the stability of employment , and ‘the geographical location of industrial institutions , the higher WLS. Whereas, the higher the influence of OJT sub-factors on DCE, such as the correspondence of major, certificate and job and ‘the wages , the lower WLS. Therefore, SHS should do as follows to improve WLS of students who takes part in the OJT. SHS should operate the OJT considering the information of industrial institutions related to job, the growth potential, the stability of employment, the equality in work organization, the geographical approach and so on and the individual characteristics of students such as personality, interest, and work value more than the wages, major and certificate of students. Moreover, SHS should improve the student s job ability through the operation of curriculum which meets the needs of industrial institutions.
