공업계 특성화고등학교 교사의 학급경영 활동과 학생의 진로결정수준의 관계

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 공업계 특성화고등학교 교사의 학급경영활동과 학생들의 진로결정수준을 분석하고 학급경영활동과 진로결정수준은 어떤 관계가 있는지를 분석하는 것이다. 이에 대한 구체적인 연구목표는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공업계 특성화고등학교 학생이 인식하는 교사의 학급경영 활동을 분석하다. 둘째, 공업계 특성화고등학교 학생의 진로결정수준을 분석한다. 셋째, 공업계 특성화고등학교 교사의 학급경영 활동과 학생의 진로결정수준의 관계를 분석한다. 설문조사도구는 관련분야 전문가(12명)의 타당도 검증 후 3개 학급 예비 조사를 실시하였으며 예비조사를 바탕으로 신뢰도 측정을 하였다. 최종적으로 만든 설문조사도구는 총 57문항으로 구성되어 있다. 그리고 전국 12개의 학교에 설문조사지 1,080부를 배포하고 842부를 회수하여 통계 분석을 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들의 학년에 따른 담임교사의 학급경영 활동 수준의 차이는 1학년일 때 학급경영활동에 대한 만족도가 가장 낮은 만족도를 나타내고 있다. 담임선생님의 전공이 보통교과보다 전문교과 일 때 학생들의 학급경영 활동에서 높은 만족도를 보이고 있었다. 또한, 담임선생님의 연령이 가장 낮은 20대가 가장 높은 점수가 나타났으며 50대는 가장 낮은 점수를 보이고 있다. 둘째, 학생이 인식하는 진로결정수준은 5점 만점에 3.12로 나타났다. 전공이 전문교과 선생님보다 기타교과가 담임선생님일 때 진로결정수준 평균이 높게 나타났다. 그리고 자신의 학과에 맞는 곳에 취업을 희망하는 학생의 진로결정수준의 평균점수가 가장 높은 점수를 보이고 있으며, 진로를 결정하지 못한 학생의 진로결정수준 평균점수가 가장 낮은 점수를 나타내고 있다. 셋째, 교사의 학급경영 활동의 하위영역들과 학생의 진로결정수준의 관계는 낮은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 학급경영 활동의 하위영역들은 진로결정수준에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of teacher’s class management activity and specialized technical high school on student’s career decision level. In specific, this study focuses on real condition of class management activity perceived by students; student’s career decision level; and describing the relationship between teacher’s class management activity and student’s career decision level. Findings of this study are summarized as followings: First, the level of satisfaction about class management activity is lowest among 1st graders; the level of it is higher from homeroom teachers of major subject than them of non major subject. In addition, the highest level of satisfaction is found from homeroom teachers who are in their 20s. Second, the career decision level of specialized technical high school is 3.12 where the level is highest among students who want to get employed in the same or similar major fields as their high school majors. Likewise, the level is lowest among students who are not able to make a decision on their career yet. Also, the level is higher when homeroom teachers teach major subjects than non-major subjects. Finally, Teacher’s Class Management Activity subcategory and Student’s Career Decision Level of Specialized Technical High School was found to have a low correlation. Based on the results of this study, future study is suggested on 1) how to raise the level of satisfaction about class management activity, 2) selecting, developing, and introducing a career related program to meet student’s aptitude, and 3) investigating more concrete relationships among variables, which have meaningful account, associated with career decision level.
