국악장단을 리듬패턴으로 활용한 유아음악 프로그램의 적용 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국악장단을 리듬패턴으로 활용한 유아음악프로그램이 유아의 음악적 인지능력, 음악적 창의성, 장단이해능력에 미치는 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 Y시에 위치한 J유치원의 만5세 1반(실험집단 21명)과 S유치원의 만5세 1반(비교집단 20명)으로 실험집단은 국악장단을 리듬패턴으로 활용한 유아음악프로그램을 실시하였으며 비교집단에는 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정(교육과학기술부, 2008)의 생활 주제별 음악수업을 적용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 12.0을 이용하여 사전, 사후로 수집된 자료를 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 연구결과 국악장단을 리듬패턴으로 활용한 유아음악프로그램은 유아의 음악적 인지능력과 음악적 창의성, 장단이해능력에 의미 있게 나타났다. 특히 음악적 인지능력의 하위영역인 리듬에는 비교집단의 유아들보다 더욱 의미 있게 나타났으며 음악적 창의성은 하위영역 전체인 유창성, 독창성, 상상력에서 집단 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 장단이해능력의 하위영역인 장단형과 셈여림에도 집단 간에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 국악장단을 유아음악교육에 음악요소로 적용하는 것에 대한 교육적 의미와 국악장단을 활용한 리듬지도의 제시가 효과적 방안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of early childhood music program applied with Korean traditional music rhythm pattern, Jang-Dan, on child s musical intelligence, creativity and understandability of Jang-Dan. An experiment group are 21 from J kindergarten and a comparative group are 20 five-year olds from S kindagarten in U city. Early childhood music program applied with Korean traditional music rhythm pattern, Jang-Dan, is applied to the experiment group and the revised early childhood education curriculum of 2007 was applied to the comparative group. Analysis of Covariance, ANCOVA, is conducted with SPSS 12.0. The results of the research shows that Early childhood music program applied with Korean traditional music rhythm pattern, Jang-Dan, have effects on child s musical intelligence, creativity and understandability of Jang-Dan. Moreover, rhythm that is a subdomain of musical intelligence becomes significantly higher than the comparative group and fluency, originality and imagination, all the subdomains of musical creativity, are significantly higher than the comparative group. In addition, the formation of Jang-Dan and its dynamic, the subdomains of jang-Dan s understandability are ignificantly higher than the comparative group. These results prove that applying Jang-Dan as an elements on early childhood music program is educationally meaningful and rhythm instruction through Jang-Dan can be effective for early childhood musuic education.
