미술치료사 수련 교육 경험과정에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료사 수련 교육 경험과정을 한국의 사회·문화적 맥락에서 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 미술심리상담사 1급 자격증 취득자 9인을 개별적으로 심층 면담하고, 근거이론 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 113개의 개념, 55개의 하위범주, 22개의 범주가 도출되었다. 중심현상은 ‘미술작업에서 피하고 싶은 나와 맞닥뜨림’으로 밝혀졌으며, 이를 중심으로 참여자들의 수련 교육 경험에 관한 패러다임 모형이 도출되었다. 핵심범주는 ‘전문성 발달을 향해 나를 그림에 담아내고 소통하기’로 나타났다. 시간의 흐름에 따른 수련 교육 경험의 과정은 기대 속의 방법 찾기, 불편한 수용, 연결고리를 갖게 된 나눔, 더해지는 배움의 체험, 나를 넘어서는 비춤, 또 다른 나로의 여정의 6단계를 거치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 미술심리상담사 수련 교육 경험의 실체와 수련 교육의 각 단계별 개입 방안에 대해 논의하고, 나아가 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 하였다. 본 연구는 미술치료사 수련 교육 경험과정의 구조뿐 아니라, 경험 모형을 단계별로 제시하여 경험의 과정들을 통합적으로 탐색했다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate training educational experience process of art therapists in Korean social-cultural contexts. The grounded theory by Strauss and Corbin(1998) was adopted to explore the structure and the process of their experiences. Data was collected through in-depth interviewes with 9 art therapists who obtained the Art Psychotherapy First Class certificate. We deduced 113 concepts, 55 subcategories, 22 categories from the analysis. The central phenomenon was ‘encountering myself who don’t want to see in artwork’and through this result the paradigm model was proposed. The core category was ‘expressing myself in the painting and communicating to develope professionalism’. And Participants went through six stages with time in their training educational experience process: the search way in the expectation, the uncomfortable acceptance, sharing to have link, learning experience be added, the reflection beyond myself, the journey to find another myself. The findings of this study suggests the practice of training educational experience and the method of intervention in each training educational steps. Furthermore it suggests a following up study. As to this research, there is importance to present not only structure of the training educational empirical process of art therapists but also the experience model by stage, and search the processes of the experience synthetically.
