우울한 아동을 위한 집단미술치료 효과에 대한 메타분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 우울한 아동을 위한 집단미술치료에 대한 연구결과를 메타분석 방법을 통해 효과 정도를 분석한 것이다. 이를 위해 2000년부터 2015년까지 국내에서 발행된 학위 논문과 학술지 논문 중 우울을 종속변인으로 하고, 미술치료를 중재방법으로 설정한 논문을 대상으로 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석을 실시하였다. 최초 검색된 논문은 총 1,302편이었으며, 연구의 동향 파악을 위한 분석 논문은 총 43편, 메타분석을 위한 분석 논문은 총 14편이었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동의 우울감소를 위한 미술치료 연구는 2000년부터 시작되었으나 2005년까지는 1년에 한두 편으로 연구되거나 아예 연구되지 않은 해도 있었다. 그러나 2006년 5편으로 급증한 이후 2015년까지 꾸준히 연구되고 있다. 연구대상별 특성을 살펴보면, 연구대상의 연령이 초등학교 고학년(42%)을 대상으로 한 논문의 비율이 가장 높았으며 영유아기 아동을 대상으로 한 연구는 한편도 없었다. 둘째, 본 연구의 분석논문의 전체 평균효과크기는 -1.7843로 아동의 우울 감소에 대한 집단미술치료의 중재 효과는 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조절변인별 효과크기를 비교한 결과에 의하면 연구대상의 연령에 따른 효과크기의 차이가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타나 고학년을 대상으로 실시한 집단미술치료의 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to synthesize the results of a group art therapy program for reducing depression in children by meta-analysis. To do this, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of theses and journal articles published in Korea from 2000 to 2015, which had depression as a subordinate variable and art therapy as an intervention method. A total of 1,302 papers were initially searched. A total of 43 papers were then analyzed to identify research trends, and 14 papers were analyzed for the meta-analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, research on art therapy for depression in children began in 2000, but until 2005, it was studied in only one or two cases or not studied at all. However, it has been steadily studied through 2015 after surging to five studies in 2006. The characteristics of the research subjects were as follows: The study subjects had the highest percentage of articles about research on children in the upper grades of elementary school (42%), and no researchers studied the infants. Second, the overall average effect size of the analysis paper of this study was -1.7843, and the effect of group art therapy on children s depression was significant. Third, the effect size of the control variables showed statistically significant differences according to the ages of the study subjects, indicating that the effect of the group art therapy on the senior students was significant.
