미래사회의 유아수학교육 방향에 대한 고찰 : 놀이로 융화되어가기

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 교과 학문 간 경계가 허물어지는 미래사회에 유아수학교육이 가야할 방향성을 고찰함에 있다. 또한 포스트휴먼 시대와 역량기반 교육과정이 화두가 된 현 시점에서 수학적 윤리와 수행성을 강조하는 수학 교육의 방향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 다양한 문헌 연구를 기반으로 유아수학교육의 흐름 대해 알아보고, 방향성과 그 실제를 제안하였다. 연구결과: 미래 사회는 교과 간의 경계가 약화되고 모든 것이 어우러지는 복잡계 속에서 불확실성과 모호성을 그 특징으로 갖는다. 그 속에서 유아수학교육은 수학이 놀이가 되고 놀이가 곧 수학이 된다. 이러한 선순환적 경험 속에 수학적 역량을 증진할 필요가 있으며, 이를 위해 구체적으로는 수학적 언어와 기호로 놀이하기, 놀이를 통한 수학적 신체 되기, 수학 놀이에서의 기계-되기의 방향을 제안하고자 하였다. 결론: 이를 통해 유아 수학 교육이 한 영역 내의 수학이라는 한 학문의 경계 내에 갇히지 않고, 놀이와 삶으로 융화되어 가는 사건화 된 수학적 경험이 다채롭게 발현될 수 있기를 기대하는 바이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the future direction of mathematics education for children in the future society where boundary between curriculum and science is broken down. This study was also wanted to examine the direction of mathematics education emphasizing ethics and performance. Method: In order to achieve the goals, examined the flow of mathematics education for children based on various literature studies and suggested directionality and its actuality. Results: Future society has weakened the boundaries between subjects, and has its characteristics as uncertainties and ambiguities. In this regard, mathematical education in early childhood becomes play and play becomes mathematics. In this experience, it is necessary to promote mathematical competence. Specifically, it proposed to play with open mathematical language and sign, becoming a mathematical body through play, and machine-becoming in mathematical play. Conclusion: It is hoped that child mathematics education will not be trapped in a narrow frame of mathematics within one area. In addition, This study hope that mathematical experiences that are integrated into play and life can be expressed in various ways.
