국문 초록

이 연구는 아동들의 부족한 신체활동의 확보와 학교체육 활성화를 위한 일환으로써 학교스포츠클럽 참가 종목 유형이 초등학생의 스포츠맨십에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 J시에 소재한 H초등학교 5, 6학년 학교스포츠클럽 참가집단 90명, 미참가집단 90명을 대상으로 15주간의 학교스포츠클럽 활동을 실시하기 전과 후의 스포츠맨십의 변화과정을 설문 조사․분석한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 학교스포츠클럽 참가 종목 유형별 스포츠맨십 사전-사후 비교 결과, 개인종목, 대인종목 및 단체종목은 운동에 대한 열정과 희생, 소속팀(동료)에 대한 배려와 존중, 운동 몰입, 심판 판정 존중, 상대팀(동료)에 대한 배려와 존중에서 유의하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학교스포츠클럽 참가 종목 유형 간 스포츠맨십 비교 결과, 단체종목, 대인종목 및 개인종목은 미참가집단보다 운동에 대한 열정과 희생, 소속팀(동료)에 대한 배려와 존중, 운동 몰입, 심판 판정 존중, 상대팀(동료)에 대한 배려와 존중에서 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to examine the effects of types of game in school sports club on sportsmanship in elementary school. This paper will provide the preliminary data with the goal to develop and invigorate sports programmes in order to enhance sportsmanship in elementary school as well as to seek its implications in physical education. In this study, the experimental group consisted of 90 elementary students who attend an elementary school under the Jeju Special Self-governing Provincial Office of Education. These 90 students were involved in 3 different types of sports; 30 in individual, 30 in combat, and 30 in team sports. The control group consisted of 90 elementary students who did not participate in any of these sports, and my conclusion based on the research data is as follows. Firstly, the level of sportsmanship in passion & self-sacrifice for exercise, consideration & respect for team(teammate), engagement in exercise, respect for umpier’s decision, consideration & respect for others team(teammate) of the team sports, combats sports and individual sports significantly improvement during the interval for measurement. Secondly, the level of sportsmanship of the experimental group(team sports, combats sports and individual sports) showed significantly increased in passion & self-sacrifice for exercise, consideration & respect for team(teammate), engagement in exercise, respect for umpier’s decision, consideration & respect for others team(teammate) than the control group.
