교육사각지대 학습자 조기선별을 위한 학습자 속성 탐색 연구: 교사의 인식을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 모든 학습자들의 교육권을 보장하고 그들이 성공적 학교생활을 영위할 수 있도록, 교육적 지원이 요구되는 학습자 선별 검사의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 다양한 학습적 요구가 필요한 ‘교육사각지대 학습자’ 속성을 살펴보기 위해, 학습자에 대한 이해도가 높고 직․간접적 경험이 있는 교사들을 대상으로 질적연구와 양적연구가 혼합된 개념도 연구방법을 활용하였다. 교육사각지대 학습자 속성은 10명의 현직 교사의 인터뷰를 통해 43개의 진술문이 도출되었으며, 35명의 교사가 교육사각지대 학습자 속성들을 유목화한 결과를 바탕으로 개념도를 도출하였다. 연구의 신뢰도와 타당도를 높이기 위해 정량적 방법인 다차원분석과 위계적 군집분석이 활용되었다. 그 결과 교육사각지대 학습자 속성은 2차원 상 가장 잘 표현되었으며, 낮은 상황인지 및 행동, 역기능적 상호작용 및 가족지지부족, 학습능력 및 태도관련 문제, 부적응적 사회․정서문제와 품행문제 4개의 군집이 도출되었으며, 교사가 인식하는 교육사각지대 학습자 속성에는 기존의 다양한 지원 요구 학습자 진단검사들의 하위항목들을 모두 포괄하고 있음이 되었다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 교육사각지대 학습자 조기선별을 위한 시사점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Although there are many policies designed to meet the various learning needs of individual learners. no policies cover all kinds of learners with at-risk in school setting. So in order to provide basic data for the early screening of learners with at-risk in school setting, we invested to find the attributes of learners with at-risk in school setting based on teachers’ awareness through concept mapping method. For this study, 10 in-service teachers participated to generate of ideas and 35 in-service teachers participated to sort ideas and 43 attributes of learners with at-risk in school setting were derived. The attributes of learners with at-risk in school setting was confirmed to be suitable in two-dimension and each dimension was named ‘learner’s personal problem-relationship with others’ and lack of personal resources-lack of family resources’. As a result of examining the cluster of learners with at-risk in school setting, there were 4 clusters named the learners’ low situational awareness and behavior, limited leaning ability and attitude-related problems, dysfunctional interaction and lack of family support, and social maladjustment emotional problems and conduct problems. Based on these results, we discussed and presented suggestions for future research and implications for early screening of learners with at-risk in school setting.
