국문 초록

본 연구는 현재 전국 최초로 운영되고 있는 초·중·고 통합운영학교의 학교운영 실태를 분석하고, 학교교육 효과성 관련 요인을 중심으로 초·중·고 통합운영학교의 효과성 수준을 실증적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 면담, 참여관찰, 질문지법을 통한 문화기술연구방법과 문헌 연구방법을 병행하였다. 요인 구분은 Conley의 이론과 두 차례에 걸친 요인분석 결과를 근거로 하였다. 그 결과 통합운영학교의 효과성을 세 가지 요인으로 구분지어 설명할 수 있는데 첫째, 핵심(Strong)요인으로 학교시설 활용, 학교문화․풍토, 의사결정, 둘째, 중간(Middle)요인으로 학교장지도성, 교수-학습, 행정 및 재정, 지역사회와의 연계성, 셋째, 하위(Weak) 요인으로 교육과정, 교원인사, 직무만족, 학업성취도이다. 그에 따라 구체적으로 각 효과성 요인별로 나타난 효과에 관한 인식 정도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the school effects of the elementary, middle, and high integrated management school which is run all over the country for the first time. Several methods were used to assess this school such as referring to various school records, undertaking field studies, and engaging in observations. In order to conduct this research, the author worked at the integrated management school and carried out diverse surveys with respect to the school program. The first phase of the project involved an analysis of the current state. the second phase went on to examine th effects of the school. The study revealed the followings: it can be classified into three variables like strong, middle, weak variables. The use of school facilities, school culture and climate, and decision making can be drawn as strong variables. curriculum, administration and finance, and contact with community as middle variables, and then personal changes and school achievement as weak variables. The school effectively organizes the integrated curriculum while uniting the different educational requirements of the various levels and fostering the personal development of its students within its allocated budget. Although the integrated management system of the three school units is not fully developed, it can nevertheless serve as a model of the other integrated management schools in the future.
