국가수호 관련 시설을 통한 호국영웅 선양방안

국문 초록

본 연구문은 점차적으로 국민들의 관심에서 멀어져가고 있는 호국영웅에 대해 국가수호시설을 적극 활용하여 그들의 희생정신을 기리고 선양하기 위한 방안을 제시하고 있다. 국가를 위해 헌신하거나 희생한 사람들의 공훈과 희생을 기리기 위한 시설을 총칭하여 현충시설이라 한다. 이러한 현충시설은 독립운동 관련시설과 국가수호 관련시설로 구분된다. 즉 국가수호시설은 국가수호를 위해 공헌하고 희생한 정신을 기리고 계승하기 위한 시설을 총칭하는 개념이다. 따라서 이러한 시설들은 호국영웅들이 국난극복을 위해 헌신하고 희생한 순국지, 전적지, 충혼탑 등이 해당된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국가수호시설의 개념을 과거 전쟁이나 기타 군사 활동에서 국가와 민족을 위해 희생된 분들의 큰 뜻을 기리기 위해 유형적인 조형물로 제작 설치한 군사재로부터 전쟁기념관에 이르기까지 포괄적으로 포함하였다. 본 논문에서는 우리 국민들의 국가수호시설 및 호국영웅 인식도와 호국시설 활용실태를 분석한 후, 선진 군사강국의 국가수호시설을 통한 애국심함양 교육사례를 소개하였다. 어느 국가든지 국민정체성 확립과 국가존속을 위해 대부분의 현충시설을 성역화하고 후세들에게 안보현장 체험교육장으로 활용하고 있다. 또한 이 연구문은 미래 국가수호의 핵심이 될 신세대들의 호국정신함양을 위한 각종 정책대안을 제시하고 있다. 한반도 5,000여년 역사가 인류사에서 소멸되지 않고 굳건히 유지될 수 있었던 것도 사실 수많은 애국선열들이 호국정신을 바탕으로 당당하게 외침을 극복했기 때문이다. 따라서 조국의 영원한 자유와 번영을 위해서는 호국영웅 선양정책은 끊임없이 개발되어야만 한다. 만약 후세 사람들의 호국영웅에 대한 무관심이 지속된다면 또다시 적의 외침에 무력하게 굴복하는 참담한 역사는 되풀이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Facilities to honor the services and sacrifices of those who devoted or sacrificed for the state are collectively referred to modern farming facilities. These modern facilities are divided into those related to the independence movement and those related to national protection. That is, a national defense facility is a generic concept for honoring and succession to the spirit of national protection and sacrifice. Therefore, these facilities include the historical site, and the royal wedding tower where the heroes of the national defense sacrificed to overcome the national crisis. Thus, in this thesis, the concept of national defense facilities was built from the past war and other military activities to the soldiers who sacrificed themselves in a tangible war sculpture. In this paper, I analyzed the Korean people s national defense facilities, the recognition of national defense heroes and utilization of national defense facilities, and introduced cases of training to foster patriotism through national defense facilities of advanced military powers. Many countries use modern facilities as a training center for security field experience to establish national identity and maintain its existence. In addition, this paper has proposed various policy options to foster the spirit of national defense for the new generation, which will be the key to protecting the nation in the future. The reason why the 5,000-year-old history of the Korean Peninsula was not lost in the human history is because many patriotic heros overcame external aggressions based on the spirit of national defense. Therefore, in order to the country to enjoy its eternal freedom and prosperity, the policy of enhancement of the heros of the national defense must be constantly developed. If future generations continue to remain indifferent to the heros of the national defense, the miserable history by the enemy will be repeated again.
