흙의 사람, 하나님의 창조물을 치유하다

국문 초록

본고는 인간의 건강한 삶, 그리고 전일적 치유가 하나님이 지으신 창조물, 흙의 건강에 토대를 둔다는 것과, 하나님의 치유가 땅을 잘 가꾸는 농(農)을 통해 이루어진다는 것을 보여주는 데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 필자는 땅이 병들어가는 오늘의 현실을 직시하며, 구약성서 창세기 1~9장의 내용을 중심으로 논의를 진전시켰다. 서론에서 지난 7월 우리 사회에 파문을 일으켰던 살충제 계란과 DDT 닭을 언급하며, 흙이 오염되면 흙에서 자란 식물(먹거리)과, 흙과 더불어 살아가는 동물(가축)도 죽을 수밖에 없고, 끝내 우리 인간도 죽을 수밖에 없다는 것을 피력하였다. 본론에서는 먼저 하나님은 인간(아담)을 흙(아다마)로 지으셨으며(창세기 2장 7절), 인간은 근원적으로 경작의 사명을 받았다는 것을 주장하였다(창세기 2장 15절). 창세기 3장을 중심으로는 인간의 죄를 고찰하였는데, 인간이 자신의 위치를 망각하고, 자기 확대 욕망을 극대화할 때 어떤 사태가 발생하는지를 체르노빌을 통해 기술하였다. 그리고 하나님의 형상으로 지어진 인간이 하나님의 대리인이자 왕이라는 것을 말하며(창세기 1장 27절), 진정한 왕의 소임(창세기 1장 28절)을 완수한 노아(흙의 사람)를 소개하는 것으로 본론을 마무리하였다. 결론으로 노아처럼 살았던 그리스도인, 외과의사 폴 브랜드를 언급하며, 흙의 사람이 하나님의 창조물을 치유한다는 것을 주장하였다.

영문 초록

This study has significance in showing that human healthy life and holistic healing are based on God s creation, the health of the earth, and that the healing of God is done through the farming of the land. To this end, I have come to realize the reality of today s earthly disease and have advanced the discussion centering on the content of Genesis 1~9 of the Old Testament. In the introduction I mentioned the insecticide eggs and DDT chickens that caused our society in July 2017. And I insisted that when the soil is polluted, the plants(the food) that grow in the soil and the animals(the livestock) that live with the soil also have to die, and that our human beings are bound to die. I have first argued that God created man(adam) as dust(adamah)(Genesis 2:7), and that man was originally given the task of cultivation(Genesis 2:15). In Genesis 3, I examined human sin. We have described through the Chernobyl what happens when humans forget their position and maximize self-expanding desire. I have argued that a human being created in the image of God is God s agent and king(Genesis 1:27). And finished the matter by introducing Noah(a man of the soil) who accomplished the true king s ministry(Genesis 1:28). As a conclusion, referring to the Christian, surgeon Paul Brand who lived like Noah, I asserted that a man of the soil heals God s creation.
