고등학생의 학교만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생의 학교만족도에 미치는 요인들이 무엇인지 그리고 그 요인들이 학교만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 실행되었다. 이를 위해 학교만족도의 영향요인을 학생요인과 학 교요인으로 구분하여 추출한 후, 그 요인들이 고등학생의 학교만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 교사와 학생 대상(교사 22명, 학생 49명) 설문조사, 전문가 의견 등에 기반하여 최종적으로 9개의 영 향요인을 추출하였다. 추출된 학생요인은 성별, 학년, 희망진로, 간부활동여부, 성적수준의 5개 요인, 학교요인은 학교계열, 학교소재지, 학급구성, 학교규모의 4개 요인이었다. 추출된 요인이 학교만족도 에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 11개 고등학교 학생을 대상으로 학교만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 회 수된 조사지 중 1025부를 연구자료로 활용하였으며, 자료분석을 위해 요인별 다변량분석(MANOVA) 을 실시하였다. 조사분석 결과, 학생요인이 학교만족도에 미치는 영향은 전반적으로 남학생, 1학년과 2학년, 대학 진학 희망집단, 간부로 활동하는 집단, 그리고 성적수준 상집단의 만족도가 의의 있게 높았다. 학교 요인이 학교만족도에 미치는 영향은 전반적으로 특목고, 시 지역 학교, 남녀 합반, 그리고 5학급 이 하 또는 10학급 이상의 규모를 지닌 고등학교 학생의 학교만족도가 의의 있게 높았다. 본 연구 결과 는 고등학생의 개인별 특성과 학교특성을 반영한 학교만족도 제고 방안 마련에 도움이 될 것으로 보 인다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to extract influence factors which affect high school students’ school satisfaction and to examine how those factors affect it. For the purpose, this study extracted the influence factors and then divided them into two: student and school factors. Nine influence factors were extracted based on 22 teachers, 49 students, and experts’ opinion, which consisted of 5 student factors: gender, grade, career choice, student union activity and academic achievement level, and 4 school factors: school system, school location, class constitution and school size. After developing students’ school satisfaction scale on the basis of the extracted influence factors, the satisfaction research was conducted to the students of 11 high schools for examining how the factors affect high schoolers’ school satisfaction. A total of 1025 surveys were used as research data and MANOVA was conducted to analyze the data. The results of the research showed that the influence factors had signigicant effects on high schoolers’ school satisfaction. The effects on student factors are as follows; the school satisfaction of male students, 1st year students, precollege students, student union leaders and high academic level students was generally higher than that of the other students. The effects on school factors are as follows; the students, studying in specialized high school, in coed classes, and in schools with 5 to 8 classes, and living in cities had higher school satisfaction than the other students. The result of the research will help to come up with measures to improve school satisfaction that reflect both high schoolers' individual characteristics and school characteristics.
