집단미술치료가 치매노인의 의사소통과 정서에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 치매노인에게 집단미술치료를 실시하여 그들의 의사소통과 정서안정의 미치는 변화를 분 석하고 그 효과를 검증하는데 있다. 연구대상은 S시 H 노인전문요양원에 입소해 있는 치매노인 200명 중 20명 을 선별하여 실험집단 10명, 통제집단 10명으로 무선배치 하였다. 연구방법은 본 연구에 앞서 실시된 예비 연구 를 토대로 수정․보완된 집단미술치료 프로그램을 재구성하였으며, 그 효과의 지속성을 검증하고자 2개월 후 추후검사를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 먼저, 양적분석으로 SPSS 12.0 프로그램과 공변량(ANCOVA)분석을 실시하 였으며, 그 효과의 지속성을 검증하고자 사전․사후․추후 점수 간의 차이에 대한 F변량분석과 Bonferronif검증 을 실시하였다. 질적 분석으로는 K-HTP의 사전․사후․추후 그림변화에 대한 전체적 분석을 하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 집단미술치료가 치매노인의 의사소통 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 집단 미술치료가 치매노인의 정서적 안정에 긍정적인 효과가 있었다. 따라서 집단미술치료가 치매노인의 의사소통과 정서 변화에 긍정적인 변화 가져 오는데 매우 유용함을 보여주었다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out for the purpose of conducting group art therapy for the demented elderly person and analysing their change in communication and emotional stability to verify its effect. 20 demented elderly person were chosen among 200 of them who have been put in the H nursing home in S-city by therapists and then randomly allocated into test group(10) and control group(10). The study was conducted based on preliminary study done prior to this study in the way of reorganizing reformed. SPSS 12.0 program was used for quantitative analysis, and ANCOVA with covariate variable of pre score was carried out for the analysis on the difference between the two groups, F-value was conducted on the differences of pre․post․follow up scores to detect the durability of the effect of group art therapy for the demented elderly person, and then Bonferronif was conducted as a follow up test to prove its accuracy. The change in pre. post. follow up pictures of K-HTP were analyzed as the qualitative analysis. Following are the results of this study. First, communication of elderly person increased through group art therapy. Second, emotion difference of the demented elderly person showed positive effect through group art therapy. Consequently, the group art therapy is very useful in bringing about positive change in and emotional change of demented old people.
