치료놀이를 병행한 인간중심적 집단미술치료가 시설보호아동의 정서․사회적 적응능력에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 시설보호아동의 정서․사회적 적응능력(자기조절능력, 또래관계, 학교적응)을 향상시키기 위하여 치료놀이를 병행한 인간중심적 집단미술치료를 실시하고 그 효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 D광역시에 소재한 세 곳의 아동양육시설에서 생활하는 4․5․6학년 남녀 아동들로, 총 42명이다. 이들 아동들을 각각 14명씩 세 집단으로 나누었는데, 치료놀이를 병행한 인간중심적 집단미술치료를 실시한 아동들을 병행치료집단으로, 인간중심적 집단미술치료를 실시한 아동들을 미술치료집단으로, 그리고 처치하지 않은 아동들을 통제집단으로 구성하였다. 프로그램 실시 기간은 2008년 6월 4일부터 8월 2일까지이며, 주 2회 총 18회기로 이루어져있다. 본 연구에 사용된 연구도구는 아동의 자기조절능력 척도(허정경, 2003), 또래환경 척도(이주리, 1994), 그리고 학교적응 척도(정숙경, 2005)이다. 시설보호아동의 정서․사회적 적응능력이 프로그램을 통하여 어떤 변화를 보이는지 파악하기 위하여 사전, 사후, 추후검사에 실시한 자료들을 SAS 9.1.3 프로그램을 사용하여 일원변량분석과 반복측정 이원변량분석을 하여 효과를 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 치료놀이를 병행한 인간중심적 집단미술치료와 인간중심적 집단미술치료는 시설보호아동의 자기조절능력, 또래관계, 학교적응에 효과적이었고, 특히 치료놀이를 병행한 인간중심적 집단미술치료의 효과가 전반적으로 더 높았다.

영문 초록

This study validates the effects of the person-centered group art therapy with theraplay program on improving the emotional and social adaptability of the institutionalized children. The emotional and social adaptability includes self-regulation, peer-relationship and school adjustment. Forty-two children ranging from fourth-grade to sixth-grade from the three different institutionalized children in D city were studied. Those children were categorized into three groups of fourteen children for each: the first group for the person-centered group art therapy with theraplay program; the second group for the person-centered group art therapy without therapy program; and the third group for no treatment. The children both in the theraplay program group and the art therapy group were treated and monitored twice a week from June 4th to August 2nd of 2008, which comes down to eighteen sessions in total. This study measures the self-regulation, peer-relationship, and school adjustment using the scales discussed in Jung-Kyung Huh(2003), Ju-Rhee Lee(1994), and Suk-Kyoung Jeong(2005), respectively. In order to identify the procedural change in the children’s emotional and social adaptability from the treatment programs, the pre-test, post-test, and follow-up test is conducted and analyzed by one-way ANOVA and repeated measurement of two-way ANOVA by SAS 9.1.3. This study provided the following empirical evidences and findings. Both the person-centered group art therapy with theraplay program and the person-centered group art therapy program turned out to be effective for the self-regulation, peer-relationship and school adjustment. Compared with the person-centered group art therapy program, the person-centered group art therapy program with theraplay program was generally examined to have more intense effect on the self-regulation of the institutionalized children.
