아동정서 및 공격성에 따른 공간사용 유형

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 6학년 아동 220명(남 110영, 여 110명)을 대상으로 다양한 감정 (기쁨, 평화, 행복, 짜증, 우울, 공포)과 관련된 공간사용 유형을 실증적 자료로 분석하고, 또한 공격성의 정도에 따라 정서와 관련된 공간 사용의 차이를 살펴보고자 하였다 전체 학생들의 공간사용 유형은 긍정적 정서(기쁨, 행복, 평화)와 관련하여 중앙에 집중되는 유형으로, 부정적 정서(우울, 짜증, 공포)와 관련해서는 상하좌우 네 모퉁이 공간 빈도가 높은유형으로 나타났다. 공격성이 높은 집단은 공격성이 낮은 집단에 비해 긍정적 정서와 관련된 공간에서 중앙 집중빈도가 낮았으며, 부정적 정서와 관련해서는 중앙 빈도가 높았다 욕히 공격성이 높은 집단에서 우울은 중앙이 가장 높은 빈도로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 공간의 개념을 연구한 여러 연구자들의 화지가 자신과 동일시될 수 있다는 이론에 근거하면, 공격성이 낮은 집단은 긍정적, 부정적 정서가 중앙과 모퉁이 공간으로 잘 분화된데비해, 공격성이 높은 집단의 경우 부정적, 긍정적 정서가 중앙에 혼재되어 감정적 분회가 잘 이루어지지 못하고, 특히 부정적 정서가 중요한 감정이기 때문에 중앙에 높게 자리하고 있는 것으로 해석될 수 있다. 이것으로 정서에 따른 공간사용 분석을 통해 아동의 정서적 특성을 파악할 수 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 특히 미술치료, 미술교육, 무용치료에서 아동의 정서와 관련된 공간이해를 적용하는데 도움이 되리라 기대된다.

영문 초록

This sludy examined the relationship between children’s emotion and space based on the emotional effect of space and symbol of space. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between children' six diversified feelings(delight, happiness, peace, depression， irritation, fear) and paper space usage pattern related to these feelîngs. Moreover is examined emotion with attack degree and space selection For the purpose of this study, the participants were 220 students(110 boys, 110 girls)of sixth grade in elementary school in Seoul. As a result, positive emotion(delight, happiness, peace) correlated with the center of space and negative emotion (depression, irritation, fear) with the corner of space. The group with high degree of aggression had high frequency of using the center of space relating positive emotion, whereas negative emotion had high frequency of using the corner of space. Especially, depression of the group with high degree of aggression had high frequency of using the center of space. These results can be explainde through the preceding theory of space. The group with low degree of aggression, positive and negative emotion is spread throughout the entire space, positive emotion in the center, and negative emotion is the corner. However, the group with high degree of aggression, positive and negative emotion is mixed in the cerner of space. AssumingIy, differentiation of emotion had not developed in this group of children and negative emotion is an important issue in the inner self. This results find that emotional specilicity of children through analysis using space connected with emotion in children and can contribute to function not onIy as to dcvelop the appropriate art therapy of therapeutic factors, art education but also as to applicate the dance therapy.
