인간중심이론을 적용한 미술치료 사례연구

국문 초록

인간중심 치료의 일치성, 무조건적 존중, 공감적 이해와 같은 치료자의 태도는 미술치료에 있어서 치료자의 역할이나 자질에 중대한 영향을 미쳤다. 인간중심 미술치료에서는 내담자의 잠재가능성과 자기실현경향성을 믿는다. 따라서 치료 장면에서 내담자의 능동적인 참여를 존중하며 내담자의 전인격적 통합을 강조한다. 본 연구에서는 경제적 타격과 신체적 질병, 심리적 갈등으로 격심한 혼란을 겪고 있는 44세의 성인 여성을 대상으로 인간중심미술치료를 적용하였다. 총 20회기의 미술치료를 통하여 분노를 표출하고 자존감을 회복하여 자기지시적 능력을 갖도록 하기위해서 수용적이고 신뢰로운 분위기를 조성하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 억압된 적개심과 분노의 표출을 통하여 마음의 안정을 찾게 되었고, 원부모와의 관계를 통찰함으로써 현재 갈등을 겪고 있는 남편, 자식, 시어머니와의 갈등을 해소할 수 있게 되었다. 둘째, 동적 집-나무-사람(K-HTP), 동적 가족화(KFD), 인물화(DAP)의 사전사후 검사를 비교해볼 때 긍정적인 심리적 변화가 있었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 사례에서 인간중심미술치료는 내담자가 자신을 있는 그대로 수용하고 자신과 남을 통합적으로 이해할 수 있게 해주는 적절한 치료방법이 되었다.

영문 초록

The attitude of therapist such as congruence of person-centered art therapy, unconditional positive regard and empathic understanding have great influence on therapist's quality and role in art therapy. Person-centered art therapy recognizes client's potentiality and actualizing tendency. Accordingly, person-centered art therapy respects client's active participate and emphasizes on the combination of their whole personality in therapy. Person-centered art therapy was progressed for 44 years old women who are in their confusion because of economic difficulty, disease and a mental perplexity. Through the art therapy for 20sessions, therapists made an acceptable and confidential mood so that clients could get a self-indicative ability by recovering their pride through expressing their anger. The results of study are as follows; First, they could restore their stability of mind through expression of suppressed hostility and indignation and solve their conflict between their husband and children and parents-in-law through looking into the relationship between subjects and parents of married women. Second, when we compare with before and after testing of K-HTP, KFD, and DAP, we could confirm a positive psychological change. In this case study, person-centered art therapy proved itself to be proper therapy that helps clients to accept themselves as they are and understand others collectively.
