집단미술치료가 경도 신경인지장애 노인의 의사소통생활 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 집단미술치료가 경도 신경인지장애 노인의 의사소통생활 만족도에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하 였다. 연구 대상은 D시에 소재한 노인종합복지관을 이용하고 있는 노인들 중 신경인지장애에 해당되는 22명이 며, 이들은 실험집단과 대기통제집단에 각각 11명씩 배정되었다. 집단미술치료 프로그램은 실험집단에게 주 2회 씩 90분 동안 총 15회기를 실시하였다. 연구도구로는 대상선정을 위해 한국판 치매선별용 간이정신상태검사를 사용하였으며 프로그램 효과검증을 위해 의사소통생활 만족도 척도를 사용하였다. 자료 처리는 실험집단과 대기통제집단의 동질성 검증을 위해 대응표본 t검정을 실시하였다. 반복측정 분산분석(Repeated Measure ANOVA)을 통해 실험집단과 대기통제집단의 의사소통생활 만족도 척도의 점수를 사전․사후․추후 변화를 비 교분석하였다. 또한 언어치료사와 사회복지사의 관찰기록을 토대로 집단원4명의 의사소통 변화를 단계별로 비 교 기술하였다. 연구 결과, 집단미술치료가 경도 신경인지장애 노인의 의사소통생활 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 주었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구는 집단미술치료가 경도 신경인지장애 노인의 의사소통생활에 도움 이 됨을 실증적 자료를 제공하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of group art therapy on communication life satisfaction of the elderly with mild neurocognitive disorders. The study participants were chosen from seniors using a multipurpose senior center in D city. 22 seniors(a control group of 11, an experimental group of 11) with mild neurocognitive disorders were chosen for the study participants. The group art therapy program for the experimental group consisted of 15 sessions. It ran twice a week, each session about 90 minutes long. The instruments were MMSE-DS for selecting participants, and Communication Life Satisfaction Scale for testing effects of the program. For data analysis, a paired t-test was used to test homogeneity of the experimental group and the control group. A Repeated Measure ANOVA was used as well to compare and analyze changes of Communication Life Satisfaction Scale scores by pre, post, follow-up evaluation in the experimental group and the control group. Also, changes of communication in 4 group members were compared and described by stages, based on observational data recorded by speech-language pathologists and social workers. The study found that group art therapy had a positive effect on communication life satisfaction of the elderly with mild neurocognitive disorders. This finding has a significance in providing empirical data of group art therapy effective in improving communication life of the elderly with mild neurocognitive disorders.
