영문 초록

Objective : The authors investigated the probability of consturction of impotence scale using revised M innesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory(M M Pl) 566 items. Methods : Subjects for this study consisted of 25 patients, including psychogenic and biogenic impotence, who visited departm ent of neuropsychiatry, Chonnam national university hospital from Januaiy 1993 to September 1993. The statistical methods employed were x2 and t-test Results : The Hs, D, Hy, Pa, Pt, Sc, Si scales of the impotence group were significantly higher than those of the control group. The impotence group produced the highest profile evaluations with a 2-3-0 code-type, and the significant 67 item s(P〈.05) am ong M M PI 566 items were selected. Applying the 26 cut-off score, 23 cases(92%) of 25 impotence group, 24 cases(96%) of 25 control group were correctly discriminated, and 47 cases(94%) of two groups using impotence scale were correctly classified. Conclusion : It was suggested that selected significant 67 items should be considered as im potence scale
